In Swan Hill this month there is the Mallee Field Day and just nearby in Robinvale is the Mallee Almond Blossom Festival. There is plenty of live music at the Swan Hill Club together with the Eagles and a Taste of Tamworth at the Swan Hill Townhall. There is also the wonderful exhibition and concerts at the Swan Hill Regional Gallery.
Then at the end of the day come back to the BIG4 and roast marshmallows on our firepits.

Mallee Machinery Field Days – 1st & 2nd of August
This year marks a special milestone celebrating 40 years. The Malle Field Days showcase the latest in farming technology and innovation boasting the largest display of agricultural equipment in the Mallee.
The Eagles Story – Saturday 25th of August
For more than ten years, The Eagles Story has taken audiences around Australia, on a journey to relive the amazing music of The Eagles. Their scintillating harmonies, that recreate to perfection the vocal arrangements created by the band, through to the purity of the musicianship, The Eagles Story takes this tribute to a new level, rarely seen.
Hit after hit comes flooding from the stage as musical memories are relived in this not to be missed salute to a legendary treasure.
Finucane & Smith’s Dance Hall – Saturday 18th August
Dance Hall is a supper dance like no other! It’s a place where international stars and local artists mix it up with dance tunes to die for.
And just like the halls of old that sprung up all over Australia, bringing communities together in dance, song laughter and supper, Dance Hall will do the same for Swan Hill and bring a community celebration unlike anything ever seen before.
This wild dance salon will take over the Town Hall, leaving the space dripping in lanterns, singers, dancers, ballerinas and showgirls. Local artists can join in through workshops and guest spots. Plus dance lessons will be rolled out at interval, with everyone urged to jump up on the dance floor!
Taste Of Tamworth – Friday 31st August
Put four Multi Award Winners together in one big concert, and you’ve got a Taste of Tamworth at its best.
Golden Guitar Winners – Carter & Carter, Felicity Urquhart and Travis Sinclair team up with rising star Anthony Taylor, to give you an authentic taste of Tamworth – Australia’s biggest country music festival.
Each act brings their own unique form of music and personality to the stage and then team up for a fun filled finale. This show is has a respected reputation for providing a high quality taste of Australia’s largest festival Tamworth – a taste that keeps people coming back for more. So come along and be part of the Tamworth experience as the artists launch into a string of their National #1 hits and some well known favourites.

Objet D’art – Until 26th of August
Following an innocent conversation between historic car collector Jeff Brown and the artist Robert Clinch, a 1960’s Australian sports car the Goggomobil Dart has become….Objet D’art. On now at Swan Hill Regional Gallery.
Flight/Motion – Until Sunday 14th October
From sheds in backyards, and esteemed public collections, Flight/motion sees an eclectic mix of paintings, sculptures, models and photographs, a 1948 motorbike and a 21st century alternative powered racing machine. Come and see the Human Powered Vehicle as designed and raced by Weeroona College, the traditionally woven hot air balloon by Ngarrindjeri weaver Yvonne Koolmatrie and much, much more.

Rianne Graham and Iris Ferwerda in concert – Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th
Join Rianne and Iris as they entertain us with a range of pieces from well known operas and musicals such as The Marriage of Figaro, LesMiserable, Carmen, The Pirates of Penzance, Lakme, Wicked and more.
Rianne and Iris will also deliver a vocal Masterclass on Sunday 12 August.

Mallee Almond Blossom Festival – 19th of August
Come prepared for a wonderfully relaxing day sampling and purchasing local produce such as almonds, olives, flavoured olive oils and salad dressings, avocados, sultanas, fresh garden produce, local honey and more.
We are excited to announce that Sara Storer will be performing at this year’s festival! After taking home the ARIA for Country Album of the Year in November 2016, Sara Storer was voted Female Artist of the Year at the Country Music Awards of Australia, held in Tamworth.
