Golf Month has officially arrived!
To celebrate, clubs and facilities all across the country are throwing open their doors and playing host to hundreds of activities throughout October.
The team at Golf Australia has shortlisted a few of their favourite Golf Month activities below, meaning you can take part in a Golf Month event from almost any park in the BIG4 network throughout Australia.
If none of these events happen to be close by, don’t stress! Head over to the activity finder and key in your postcode to find an activity near you.

Food, Wine & Golf Open Day at Flagstaff Hill Golf Club (21 October, $20)
Sample some of South Australia's Finest Wines and Produce as we bring together the best of McLaren Vale, Langhorne Creek, Adelaide Hills and Fleurieu Regions. Fun and friendly chipping & putting competitions, access to the course for 9 holes, live music and stunning location on the grass overlooking our magnificent golf course. Children's entertainment includes bouncy castle and face painting. Tickets are only $20 and include a souvenir wine glass for you to take home. Children are free but must be accompanied by an adult.
Friday Night Lights at Mount Osmond Golf Club (26 October, $30)
There’s no better way to start your weekend than with a hit of golf on a Friday evening! Friday Night Lights is the latest twilight event to hit Mount Osmond Golf Club and is open to all golfers to kick-start their weekend the right way! Cost is $30 per player which includes green fees, competition entry and your choice of three meals from the bistro after your round.
The Golf Show 110m Challenge at Blackwood Golf Club (26-28 October, FREE)
Whether you play golf or not there is always an element of luck when it comes to getting a hole in one or even getting your ball to land nearest the pin. Like on the Foxtel Golf Show, we have decided to do our own 110 metre challenge during Golf Month. So come and test your skill, or your luck, and see if you can get a hole-in-one or nearest the pin at our 110 metre challenge event.
Six-60 Golf at Tam O’Shanter Golf Club (All month long, $6)
Throughout Golf Month, 2018 Tam O’Shanter Golf and Community Club are offering an innovative form of the game. Six-60 Golf provides 6 par-3 holes to be played over 60 minutes for a cost of $6. A fast game, a challenging course, the offer of fun and excitement with friends from beginners to experienced golfers, Six-60 Golf is unique. This game has its own scorecard, handicaps and potential for ongoing challenges amongst a group of friends, workmates or sporting teams looking for an alternate activity to keep connected, while exercising and having fun.
Ambrose Foursome fun day at Burnie Golf Club (27 October, $10)
Everyone is welcome to join us for a fun day of golf from 11am on 27 October at Burnie Golf Club. You can also take part in an ambrose event at Bothwell Country Club with the greenkeepers revenge to be played on 20 October from 10am, with entry only $10 each.
Tuesday Pizza Night at Ranfurlie Golf Club (Every Tuesday in October, FREE)
Free pizza on the range every Tuesday night between 5pm and 7pm. Yep, you read it correctly. Free pizza.
Play golf for a month at Bacchus Marsh West Golf Club (All month long, $30)
Play golf for the whole of October for $30. Come to Bacchus Marsh West Golf club and mention this ad to play the entire month of October for $30. As well as cart hire at members rates.
$1 per Hole at Kilmore Golf Club (All month long, from $1)
It’s pretty simple! One dollar per hole. Only have half an hour? Play 3 holes for $3! Excludes Saturdays before midday (member competition).
Junior clinics at Port Kembla Golf Club (until 29 October FREE)
Free junior clinics for kids at one of the best public access courses in NSW. Learn the basics of the game from some of the game’s best teachers. Time: 2pm to 3pm every day.
Member Rates Week at Forster-Tuncurry Golf Club (22-26 October, from $13)
Social golfers pay only members rates, Green fees $13.00, normally $35.00 to $40.00 and cart hire $26.00, normally $44.00 (excludes competitions).
Mother & Daughter Introductory Lesson and Morning Tea at Keperra Country Golf Club (27 October, FREE)
This 60-minute session will incorporate two golf skill aspects, an opportunity to meet with other like-minded women and enjoy a casual relaxed atmosphere over morning tea at the conclusion of the lesson. All equipment including golf balls, golf clubs, coaching and refreshments is provided free of charge. Please register your interest at minimum three days prior.
