What's it really like to travel with a baby? And will they survive their home-on-the-road experience?
Watch the travel series below for one epic journey!
This series was filmed in October 2019, pre-covid.
They've never driven anything larger than a sedan, but staying true to their adventurous selves, Lia and Max pick up their new (and big) home on wheels from Apollo Motorhomes. Oh, and of course, their toddler Ava comes along for the ride, too. A seal attack, underwhelming big things built for unknown reasons, and Max attempting backflips are among the highlights in episode one.
Off to mingle with Chris Hemsworth and Zac Efron, Max, Lia, and Ava take over Byron Bay and feast at some fantastic places. They then head to the Sunshine Coast's Australian Zoo and see two Tasmanian devils fight, but luckily the creatures come away uninjured. Unique local markets, Ava playing on big pillows, and a Bundy Rum tour are among the delights of this episode.

Max and Lia prove they can still party like backpackers (we're talking beer pong and dancing until 10:30pm). BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort has a gaggle of water slides, so Max and Ava give them a go too many times! Awesome motorhome hacks, another big thing, and the hunt for a Cassowary lead the highlight reel.
If you're not on the edge of your seat for the travel series final episode, you absolutely will be when Max and Lia do some...laundry. They visit the house of 'The Elon Musk of the 1930s', take in spectacular sunrises at Mission Beach, and test out 'feel-good bananas' for the first time! It's been a wild ride for this travelling trio as they reluctantly wrap up their trip and reflect on holidaying domestically with a little one.
