Lights Beach is one of those places that stops you in your tracks. It's important to note that this is not a recommended swimming beach. Dangerous tides, strong currents, and unpredictable surf make the water unsafe. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy the coastline from the sand or lookouts and save swimming for calmer spots in the region. Lights Beach is still popular with experienced rock fishers and surfers who understand the conditions.
