Changes and Cancellation

If you wish to change any details of your booking, please contact our park directly. We will do our best to assist you but cannot guarantee that changes can be made.

If we have initiated a cancellation of your booking for any reason prior to your arrival you will receive a full refund of your deposit and any pre-payments.

Should you wish to cancel or vacate your site early due to weather conditions, no refund will be given. Tariffs and deposits are not refundable if your stay is cut short for any reason,including cancellation of your booking by Management due to a breach of Park Rules.

OFF PEAK CANCELLATIONS
If a reservation has to be cancelled by you and at least 14 days’ notice is provided, the deposit will be refunded in full. Cancellations within 14 days of the date of arrival will forfeit the full deposit amount as a cancellation fee.

BIG4 Aireys Inlet reserves the right to cancel bookings for 'no shows'. If you do not notify the park of your cancellation or do not arrive by 10am the day after your scheduled arrival date, your booking will be cancelled, and your deposit forfeited as a cancellation fee. Your site will be made available for other bookings.

PEAK CANCELLATIONS (SUMMER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS)
If a reservation for the Summer School Holidays is cancelled by you prior to the balance being paid the deposit will be forfeited in full.

If a reservation for the Summer School Holidays is cancelled by you after the balance has been paid, the initial deposit will be forfeited in full as a cancellation fee and the balance will be transferred to your Guest Account as a credit.

CREDITS
Credits can only be redeemed at BIG4 Aireys Inlet and are valid for stays within 3 years of your cancellation. Your ability to rebook using your Guest Account Credit will be subject to availability and minimum stay periods and may incur different nightly rates to your original booking. Bookings made using Guest Account Credits which are subsequently cancelled or rescheduled cannot be refunded and will revert to a Guest Account Credit with the original expiry date. Management reserve the right to void Guest Account Credits where a pattern of rebooking and cancelling is deemed to be nuisance-causing in nature.


Pets

Pets are permitted on selected caravan/tent sites and cabins outside of Summer School Holidays with prior permission from management.


Deposits and Payments

Payments/Deposits
A deposit is required to secure each reservation. For all bookings, a deposit equal to the first night’s accommodation/site tariff must be paid at the time of making the reservation. Reservations will not be guaranteed without a deposit. If a deposit is not paid by the required date, your reservation will be cancelled.
Your reservation must be paid in full on arrival or by December 1st for Summer School Holiday Bookings. At least 14 days’ notice must be given for booking or date alterations. Date changes are subject to availability and minimum stay periods and may incur different nightly rates to your original booking.

Management reserves the right to amend or alter prices, sites and conditions at any time without notice.

Any deals are subject to the Terms and Conditions of that deal and can change at any time without notice.

You must be over 18 years of age to stay with us unless you are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Management reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking if the nature of the booking has the potential to cause safety concerns or damage to the Park’s reputation.

We reserve the right to evict guests from the park who are deemed by management to be behaving in a socially unacceptable way; causing damage; disturbing other guests; using unacceptable language or otherwise breaking Park Rules. No refund will be given and charges will apply for any damage caused.

Check in time for cabin accommodation is from 2pm and from 12pm for sites. Checkout time is strictly 10am. Late departure fees may be incurred for occupancy exceeding these times unless previously arranged with reception. Extended checkouts will only be offered at Management’s discretion and will incur an extra fee.

Bookings are charged on a per head, per night basis. You must declare any guests who will be staying as part of your booking at the time of booking. We reserve the right to charge additional fees or cancel bookings on or after arrival if the number of guests exceeds the booked number.

Whilst we endeavour to meet our guest’s requests, site/cabin preference is not guaranteed,and bookings may be moved at staff discretion.

Bunks
Please note that according to Australian standards top bunks and elevated beds are considered dangerous and not recommended for children under the age of 9. Australian Standards relate to the use of bunk beds and state that “Children under the age of 9 years are not recommended to use the top bunk. Also, children must not play on the top bunk”. Please note that as we do not record the ages of children staying in the park, it is the responsibility of Parents/Guardians to consider safe sleeping arrangements for their child/ren.

Pets
Pets are permitted on designated sites and cabins with prior approval from management subject to the conditions of our Pet Policy. Pets are not permitted in the Park during Summer School Holidays. Please check with our Guest Services Team for exact dates.

Vehicles
Strictly only one vehicle is allowed per site/cabin. Limited parking for additional/visitor’s cars is available outside the front fence of the park. Please contact reception prior to arrival if you are bringing a trailer or boat as we cannot guarantee space to park these on-site.

Fires
Fires are not permitted in the park (including coal based BBQs), other than our seasonalcommunal Fire Pit which is to be lit and managed by park staff only.

Minimum Stays
Management may set minimum stay requirements for peak periods or certain accommodation types. Our Guest Services Team may be able to offer a shorter stay if a vacancy exists between confirmed bookings. Bookings made during a period with a minimum stay requirement cannot be reduced in length.

BIG4 Holiday Parks of Australia Pty Ltd is not the owner of any particular BIG4 Holiday Park. BIG4 Holiday Parks facilitates this booking service and is not responsible for the provision of services, standard of facilities or payments received. All bookings are made directly with the individual owner of this BIG4 Member Park and therefore BIG4 Holiday Parks will not accept any claims for refunds or credits.
