What better way to entertain the troops than with a full hands on experience suitable for all ages. The kids will not know what to do first, whether it be one of the many interactive exhibits or tinkering at one of the building stations. For the budding astronomer they can immerse themselves in the planetarium as they are taken on a guided journey of the solar system. Make sure to take socks if you are brave enough to drop seven metres falling at a speed of 30 - 40 km per hour down the vertical slide.
The Bendigo Market Place is the ideal next stop to get some well earned lunch and a little retail therapy after the Discovery Centre.
