Tasman Peninsula

The Tasman Peninsula is located in southeast Tasmania just over an hour drive from the capital Hobart. The most popular attraction on the Tasman Peninsula is the Port Arthur Historic Site, which is often on the bucket list for travelers to Tasmania however it is also known for its beautiful beaches, bays, large surf, soaring cliffs and abundance of wildlife.

Breathtaking and spectacular coastlines, blowholes and caves are along the journey to visit Port Arthur. The area is a world-heritage National Park home to native Australian wildlife such as, wombats, wallabies, brush tail possums, dolphins, Australian fur seals, penguins, and if you're lucky migrating whales! 

Experience 300m high sea cliffs, fascinating rock formations, such as Candlestick and Remarkable Cave. 

The Peninsula has become a favourite with Tasmanian bushwalkers, campers and day trippers due to its spectacular natural beauty and views that will take your breath away. There is also plenty for history buffs, adventurers, families and animal lovers.
