Bay Pavilions Arts + Aquatic Centre

The new Bay Pavilions Arts + Aquatic Centre is now open and a great day out for all of the family.

GYM, HEALTH & FITNESS

Gym facilities at Bay Pavilions include a cardio zone with over 25 pieces of equipment, a functional training zone with kettlebells, plyometric boxes, medicine balls, ropes, tyres and much more and a strength zone, with a comprehensive selection of pin and plate loaded strength machines, dual pulley machines, and cable machines to work every part of your body as well as dumbbells, barbells, Olympic lifting platforms, squat racks and universal benches.

There are also group fitness classes with a huge range of Les Mills classes from Body Balance, Body Pump and Body Attack through to Pilates Core, Yoga and even Zumba!

AQUATIC FACILITIES

The aquatic facilities include an 25 metre lap pool, warm water pool and leisure pool, along with 4 exhilarating waterslides that finish both indoors and out!

The water slides are classified as medium thrills and feature deep water, flashing coloured sections, complete darkness, and rapid speeds. There are minimum rider requirements: Must be 6 years or older, over 120cm tall and under 120kg with no health conditions.

There is also an indoor warm water pool heated to 34 degrees for rehabilition and relaxation, along with a 25-metre indoor pool with eight lanes and ramp access.

ARTS & THEATRE

Special arts and theatre events are held throughout the year. The Yuin Theatre is a multipurpose venue that’s fully accessible and flexible with stage and seating options. The retractable theatre seating can seat up to 350 people.

The Clyde Gallery has areas that are suited for both long-term and short-term exhibitions by national, local, and student artists. Our well-known exhibition and gallery spaces provide the neighbourhood a top-notch gallery experience.

The centre is open all year round except for Good Friday and Christmas Day.
