The Coastal Recreational Path runs along Ballina Shire's coastline from Ballina to Lennox Head. This pathway contains a landscape of extensive cultural features and natural resources with beautiful beach views.
Also featured along this path is a section called Aboriginal Cultural Ways which features 22 interpretive signage panels that provide a mix of themes, cultural stories and artwork relating to the Aboriginal culture and heritage along this stretch of coastline including:
- Welcome and significance of the place
- Historical events
- Cultural stories
- Landscape features
- Language
A web app has also been developed in conjunction with the signage panels that provides complementary interpretive material.
