Byron Bay is renowned for its bike friendly atmosphere and cycle paths.
Ingenia Holidays Byron Bay is located adjoining beautiful Arakwal National Park and Tallow Beach. A cycle path runs along side these destinations and starts at our front gate. These beautiful and often not seen parts of Byron can only be accessed by bike or foot. The village of Suffolk Park is about 2km south and is near the end of this cycleway where you will find a lovely bakery/coffee shop, supermarket and the Sufflok Park Hotel. Make sure you plan some time to explore this pocket of Byron Bay.
Byron Town centre: Ingenia Holidays Byron Bay is located 3km from the maddening crowds of the town centre so rather than driving into town, why not take a bike? No parking issues and most bikes are available with a basket for groceries.
Byron Lighthouse: Another great ride is to the famous Byron Lighthouse. This is the most easterly point in Australia and is about a 30 minute cycle ride. Don't forget to take your camera, the views are stunning.
