At BIG4 Karuah Jetty Holiday Park we welcome well-behaved dogs on our caravan and camping sites, with a maximum of 2 dogs per site. We also have one pet-friendly Queen Villa (4 berth) with fully-tiled floors (subject to availability).
We also have a new in-park Dog Wash available for a fee.
Please note that dog owners will be required to accept and sign our pet policy and provide a current registration and vaccination certificate on check-in.
Please do not book online if you are travelling with a dog, you must book by phone on 02 4997 5520 for management approval.
BIG4 Karuah Jetty Holiday Park requires guests with Pets to leave their credit card details when you check in. This is to ensure the site where you have stayed is left how you found it by abiding to the following park rules:
All pets are to be approved by management before your stay.
No more than two (2) pets are allowed per caravan and camping site.
When you check-in, let reception staff know that you have your pet(s) on site. You will need to sign a Pet Policy Form and then you and your pet can make yourselves at home.
Be sure to keep your pets on leads at your site and whilst walking them around the park. All pets are NOT to be taken into Karuah Waters Estate where our permanent residents reside.
All pets are NOT to be taken near the Jetty, Kids Playground, Camp Kitchen, Jumping Pillow and Pool Area.
In consideration for other guests, please clean up after your pets and keep them within your control at all times. Doggy poo bags are available at reception if needed.
We count on you to prevent your pet from making excessive noise, being disruptive or aggressive to other guests. If your pet is deemed dangerous, harmful or disruptive, park management has sole discretion to find other accommodations. We also reserve the right to contact animal control to have a pet removed.
If your site requires excessive cleaning, or if damages are incurred as a result of your pet’s actions, we reserve the right to charge for additional services and repairs.
If at any time you require assistance or have any concerns /queries please contact staff immediately.
In addition to our rules you are also responsible for being in compliance with all the local laws and regulations.
GENERAL BIG4 CONDITIONS:
The dog owner must contact the park directly in advance of arrival to apply to have their dog accepted in that particular BIG4 Holiday Park. Special conditions may apply for each park, including date restrictions and the payment of a security deposit.
Upon arrival at the park, the dog’s acceptance will be at the Manager’s discretion. Upon acceptance by the Park Manager, the dog owner must then agree to and sign the standard ‘BIG4 Dog Policy Dog Owner Agreement’ form. It will not be possible under such rules to book with a dog on BIG4.com.au
Dogs must be supervised at all times and never left unattended, including inside a tent, van, or other accommodation.
Dogs must be on a leash at all times while not in a van or tent or other accommodation: there are no exceptions. A leash must be no more than two metres in length. No dog ‘runs’ are to be operated by dog owners.
For health and safety reasons, dogs are not allowed in any common areas of the park, including cafes, pool areas, games rooms, camp kitchens, amenities, playgrounds, reception, or any public areas, including the jetty.
Dog owners are 100% responsible for picking up and disposing of their dog’s waste in a sealed ‘doggy do’ plastic bag and disposed of in rubbish bins.
For health and safety reasons, dogs must not be washed or cleaned anywhere within the park (unless a designated dog wash area has been provided). Additionally, any dog-related accessories such as dog blankets should not be washed or cleaned within the park.
Dog owners are personally responsible, and will be held to be so, for any and all personal injuries and/or property damage or losses in relation to any actions caused by or because of their dog.
Dogs may only be walked in the designated areas of the park. Dogs are not to be walked around the park, however dogs can be walked on Holdom Road by exiting the park via the pedestrian gate opposite Reception.
The dog owner must agree that the Park Manager reserves the right to evict any guests whose dog is deemed noisy, disruptive, and aggressive or the subject of a complaint/s from other guests. It is the dog owner’s sole responsibility to control and manage their dog. If in the view of park management this has not happened to an acceptable level, the owner and the dog may be evicted from the park immediately.
Rules of occupancy can vary between individual parks.
