Running as it does hard against the coast, visitors can walk straight off the beach and snorkel over superb coral gardens teeming with colourful fish mere metres from the shore - an extraordinary experience found nowhere else in Australia!

Many of the Ningaloo Reef's best snorkel spots are located just a short distance from either Exmouth or Coral Bay and are free to access. Tours to snorkel sites located further out on the Ningaloo Reef or at the Muiron Islands depart Coral Bay and Exmouth respectively all year round.

Tourists are advised to check for alerts and road/park closures before commencing their travel on www.emergency.wa.gov.au and https://alerts.dbca.wa.gov.au
