Ballarat Aviation Museum is located within the grounds of the Ballarat Aerodrome. The museum is dedicated to the history of aviation. It has a great collection of aircraft, engines, aviation radios, cameras and aviation memorabilia.

The Ballarat Aerodrome was a Royal Australian Air Force base during World War Two for the No.1 Wireless and Air Gunners school, and post war the School of Radio. Learn about the stories of nine Ballarat men who completed their training between 1940 and 1945. The training in Morse Code was one of the skills required by these men. You will have the opportunity to test your skills relaying a message in Morse Code.
