Termeil is a convenient stop on the Princes Highway, with a service station located about halfway between Ulladulla and Batemans Bay.

The surrounding area is rich in natural beauty, with Murramarang National Park nearby—a spectacular coastal park featuring towering Spotted Gum and Burrawang forests along the slopes of Mount Durras.

Visitors can enjoy bush walking and mountain bike riding, while a wider range of entertainment, dining and services is easily found in Ulladulla to the north or Batemans Bay to the south.

The region is also home to a number of local artists' studios, and the museum at Lake Tabourie offers a fascinating glimpse into the area's past. Or simply stop in town to enjoy an award‑winning pie from the local store.
