If life takes a turn and you need to adjust your stay, we completely understand. Let us know as early as you can and we’ll do our best to help.

Full refunds are available up to 30 days before arrival, and partial refunds may be possible closer in. For late cancellations or no-shows, we may not be able to refund, but we’re always open to finding another date that works for you.

To secure your slice of riverside time, we’ll ask for a 50% deposit when you book*. The rest can be taken care of up to 30 days before you arrive.

We accept most common payment types, including cards and bank transfers.

Standard Rates
All our rates are based on two adults per room during standard midweek stays. Prices are indicative and may shift slightly depending on the season and demand — we’ll always be upfront about what applies to your booking.

Extra Guests
If your crew includes more than two people, no problem. Guests aged three (3) and over simply incur a small additional nightly charge, outlined in your booking details.

Peak & High-Demand Periods
Like the river, rates can ebb and flow. During weekends, public holidays, and busy times of year, prices may vary to reflect demand.

Longer Stays
Planning to linger? We love that. Extended stays may attract a reduced nightly rate, so the longer you stay, the more relaxed your rate (and you) become.

Changing Dates & Availability
Life happens — and we’re flexible where we can be. If you need to shift your dates, your rate may adjust slightly depending on season and availability. We’ll always discuss any changes openly before confirming.

Confirmation of Rates
Once you’re all booked in, you’ll receive a detailed breakdown of your rate, any applicable discounts, and all charges — so everything is transparent before you arrive.

Furry friends are part of the family, and we’re creating special places just for them. Select sites and cabins will welcome pets - all pet friendly sites are clearly marked online and will allow you to add your pet to your booking. We simply ask that pets stay close and under your care, and that all shared spaces remain peaceful for every guest.

If you’d like to linger a little longer, just check in with Reception - if we can extend your stay, we happily will (a small fee may apply).

A Note on Peace & Quiet
After 10pm, the mood gently shifts. The stars come out, and the resort settles into quiet - a soft invitation to slow down, wind down, and rest easy, for the good of all.

Campfires & Fire Pits
When the season allows, there’s nothing like gathering by firelight. We provide fire pits for your use, and wood is available at Reception. To care for the landscape, we ask guests not to collect wood on site - let the gums stand tall and the ground remain untouched.

Exploring & Enjoying the Resort
Our pools, splash park, jetty and boat ramp are all yours to enjoy as a registered guest or as a visitor with a Swim Club Day Pass. Please follow any posted signs and guidelines so everyone can soak up the good times safely.

Sharing the Experience with Visitors
Family and friends are welcome to join you for the day. Whether it’s a long lunch at Kokomo or a splash in the pool, they’re part of the joy. For those using shared facilities, a Swim Club Day Pass is available from Reception, and we’ll provide a wristband so everyone knows they’re part of the story.

Looking After You, Looking After the Land
Your comfort, safety and enjoyment mean everything to us. While we’ll always look out for you, we also trust our guests to move gently through the space - with kindness toward others, care for the environment, and a spirit of respect that keeps the place humming with good energy.

Please also be mindful that Trentham Waters is set within natural bushland, surrounded by old and beautiful gumtrees. These trees are part of the landscape we treasure, but as living organisms they may drop limbs or branches without notice. By choosing to stay with us, guests acknowledge this natural risk and agree that BIG4 Trentham Waters Resort cannot be held responsible for injury, damage, or loss arising from falling branches or other natural environmental events.

Sharing Space with Wildlife
Trentham Waters is part of the bush, and the bush is full of life. From kangaroos at dusk to the call of kookaburras at dawn, it’s all part of the magic. It also means snakes may be present, especially in the warmer months. They usually prefer to keep their distance, and we ask guests to do the same. Please stick to paths where possible, keep a watchful eye on children and pets, and never attempt to approach or handle wildlife. By moving with care and respect, we all stay safe while sharing this special place together.

Boats, Storage & Launching
Love the river? So do we. Our private boat ramp and jetties make it easy to slip onto the water, minus the queues and crowds. We also offer boat and van storage, a coin-operated wash bay, and plenty of space beside select cabins for everything from a tinnie to a wake boat. Just let us know what you’ll be bringing, and we’ll help you settle in.

E-Bikes & Scooters
For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, electric scooters and throttle-controlled e-bikes are not permitted within the park. Pedal-assist bicycles (where the motor only kicks in when you’re pedalling) are welcome, as long as they’re ridden responsibly. Riders must follow the resort’s speed limit of 10km/h and wear a helmet at all times.
