Being a pet friendly BIG4 Holiday Park we welcome tourists with pets for short periods of time. To make sure ALL of our guests have an enjoyable stay, we do have some rules which must be adhered to. Please see Pet Policy Terms in Full

Deposits and Payments

A deposit is required for online bookings only to confirm each cabin/site and group reservation. A minimum payment equal to the first nights accommodation is required to secure your reservation. The balance of the account is required upon arrival or during peak periods if requested prior to arrival. You will be emailed a confirmation letter. For direct bookings, credit card details will be required to secure your booking however payment is not required until check in.

What you need to know

COVID-19 Flexible Booking Policy: 
Notwithstanding any applicable rights under consumer law, guests will have the option to select a new date for their existing booking or accept a credit valid for up to 12 months, if, at the time of stay, any of the following criteria applies or is reasonably expected to apply: 

  • You, or an immediate family member, have COVID–19 at the time of stay or you have tested positive for COVID–19 within 7 days prior to arrival:
  • Under a local health or government directive, you are required to self-isolate because you have been identified as a contact of a person who is a reported or suspected case of COVID-19 (note: the self-isolation requirements vary depending on the state and/or circumstances); or 
  • A State Government or Commonwealth Government directive is issued and means you can no longer travel to, or from, your destination. 

Note: You may be required to provide reasonable evidence that the above circumstances apply. 

Awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test will not automatically give rise to a right of cancellation under the COVID-19 Flexible Booking Policy. If, within 72 hours prior to arrival, you have any COVID-19 symptoms and/or you are required to obtain a COVID-19 test, please contact the park directly to discuss your options, including the potential to defer the date of arrival and/or shorten your length of stay. 

To utilise this policy a guest must have made their booking on  Any difference in booking value will need to be paid directly to the park as per their usual booking terms and conditions. To request either a change to booking dates or to receive a credit for a future booking in relation to the COVID-19 Flexible Cancellation Policy the customer will need to contact the park directly. 

Any cancellation which is deemed not applicable to the Flexible Cancellation Policy will need to comply with the park's usual terms and conditions. 

For a full refund, cancellation must be made a full 24 hours prior to the BIG4 Aussie Outback Oasis Holiday Park check in time (2PM if not specified) on the day of check in. For example, if check in is on Friday, cancellation must be made prior to 2PM on Thursday of that week. If guests cancel less than 24 hours before check in, the first night is non-refundable and will be charged. If guest arrives and decides to leave early, the nights not spent 24 hours after the official cancellation are 100% refunded. Where a changes or cancellation are necessary all concerns will be dealt with fairly and on a personal level by Park management. 

Booking Policy: A credit card deposit equivalent to the first nights’ accommodation is required at the time of booking (note this fee will not attract the 1.5% surcharge). The Park will process a charge against your credit card and send confirmation to the email address supplied. The balance is due upon check in (note: if paying by credit card a 1.5% surcharge will be added).

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 4 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund. If a cancellation is within 4 days and outside 24hrs of arrival the deposit is forfeited unless the room can be resold. All cancellations within the 24hr period or No shows will forfeit the deposit.  No refunds are available for early departures. Reception hours are 8am to 7pm. Guests arriving outside these times must contact park reception during reception hours to make alternate arrangements. Special requests are on an individual basis only and are not guaranteed at the time of booking. Please contact the Park on 07 4787 8722 for confirmation. Some Public Holidays may incur a Surcharge fee.

Bunk Beds: Please note: where bunk beds are used, we advise that bunk beds can be dangerous for children under 12 years of age and we ask that Parents & Carers take extreme care if using a top bunk bed.  It is the parent/carers responsibility to ensure that children do not use the bunk beds as play equipment.

BIG4 Holiday Parks of Australia Pty Ltd is not the owner of any particular BIG4 Holiday Park. BIG4 Holiday Parks facilitates this booking service and is not responsible for the provision of services, standard of facilities or payments received. All bookings are made directly with the individual owner of this BIG4 Member Park and therefore BIG4 Holiday Parks will not accept any claims for refunds or credits.
