• For families or groups travelling together: Our Executive 2 Bedroom Villas accommodate up to 5 guests and are ideal for families or couples holidaying together.

All our cabins are self-contained and feature kitchen and bathroom facilities, air conditioning, and linen and towels are provided making it easy to relax and enjoy your stay in Harrington.

The price of a caravan site includes your allocated site for your stay with a 6m x 2.5m concrete slab, with options for powered and unpowered sites to suit different camping setups. All sites have freshwater tap, and grey water disposal. We also have an onsite dump point for your convenience.

Our spacious sites feature access to park facilities, including the swimming pool and spa, games room, barbecue areas, firepit area, undercover camp kitchen and ensuite style amenities block.

The total price depends on your chosen site type, travel dates and number of guests.

Yes! We welcomes guests looking for a one-night stay, subject to availability and any minimum-stay requirements that may apply during weekends (cabin bookings) peak periods or special events.

We recommend checking availability and booking ahead, particularly during school holidays and busy holiday periods.

There is no additional charge for dogs staying on our caravan and camping sites. For cabin stays, a fee of $10 per dog, per night applies, along with a $50 pet bond per dog, payable on arrival.

We allow a maximum of two dogs per site and in most of our cabins. However, some cabins can accommodate only one dog, so we recommend checking with our friendly team before booking to ensure your chosen accommodation is suitable.

Your dog is welcome inside our cabins. To help keep our cabins comfortable and enjoyable for all guests, we ask that all dogs stay off the furniture, including beds and lounges. Please bring your dog's own bed so they have a cosy place to relax during your stay.

For the safety and comfort of your pet, dogs must not be left unattended at the park, including inside cabins or on sites. Our friendly reception team will be happy to recommend local dog-friendly cafés, dining options and activities where your four-legged family member can join you!

Both Harrington Beach and Crowdy Bay beach are dog friendly, allowing dogs off-leash on the sand and in the surf outside of patrolled swimming zones. Other popular dog walking spots are the Break wall, the Manning River Foreshore Walk and the Harrington Heritage Riverwalk. All of these locations are within a 12km radius from our park.

A maximum of two pets per booking is permitted on our caravan and camping sites. For cabin stays, the number of pets allowed depends on the cabin type, with some cabins accommodating one pet and others allowing up to two.

If you're planning to bring a pet other then a dog, cat or bird, please contact our friendly reception team before booking to confirm arrangements.

Yes! We offer spacious caravan and camping sites suitable for a range of setups, including large caravans, motorhomes, RVs and buses. We also have drive-through sites available by request, with some able to accommodate setups up to 20 metres long.

To help us find the best site for your setup, please let our friendly team know the overall length and dimensions of your vehicle, caravan or motorhome when booking. We recommend contacting us before making your reservation to confirm site suitability and availability, particularly for larger rigs and buses.

Yes! You can absolutely add private ensuite hire onto your booking when camping with us.

Your private ensuite would be located within our amenities block (not on your specific site) and is exclusively yours to use for the duration of your stay. It's a convenient option for guests who prefer the comfort and privacy of their own bathroom facilities while enjoying a caravan or camping holiday.

Private ensuites are available for an additional fee and are subject to availability, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

Our pool is heated from September through to April and our spa is heated all year round! Our pool area is open daily from 9AM until Sunset.

Unfortunately, we are located at the very beginning of Harrington along the main road and there is no safe walking path we can recommend for the first section in front of our park. However, there are curtesy busses for all 3 pubs available and car parks and street parking available only a short drive away for you to be able to leave your car whilst you explore.

We do not have a café on site but we do have complementary instant coffee, sugar and tea available at our camp kitchen. The town of Harrington has many coffee shops for you to choose from, the closest would be located at our Bakery in our shopping Village which is about a 5 minute drive away, with more just down the road overlooking our beautiful break wall.

Our Executive 2 bedroom Villas and our Superior 2 bedroom Cabin both have Nespresso Coffee Pod machines with complementary pods provided on arrival - additional pods can be purchased at the office.

Our camp kitchen does also have a vending machine with light snacks and soft drinks available.

While we don't have a playground within the park, our Library has a kids corner with board games and kids books for your little ones to enjoy, and our swimming pool features a shallow 40 cm wading area so they are able to swim in shallower water under adult supervision. We also have a games room within our camp kitchen area and allow bike and scooter riding during daylight hours as long as everyone is wearing a helmet and remaining under 10kms an hour on electric bikes/scooters.

All our cabins have fully enclosed verandahs with gates, providing a handy outdoor space for families. We also offer free highchair hire and porta cots for a small fee to help make travelling with little ones easier.

Our Cabin Check in time is 2pm and our site check-in time can be confirmed via phone on your day of arrival.

Our reception hours are 9:00 am–5:00 pm Monday to Friday and 10:00 am–3:00 pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Yes! We offer free Wi-Fi for guests staying in cabins or on caravan and camping sites.

We have two guest laundries, with coin-operated washing machines and dryers, laundry tubs and ironing facilities. We are able to swap cash for the $1 coins required to operate the machines at the office.

Our modern camp kitchen includes gas ovens and cooktops, microwaves, a fridge, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. There are also BBQ facilities available for guests to enjoy during their stay and an open fire kitchen located near our camping sites.

Our cancellation policy depends on the time of year, whether you're staying in a cabin or on a site, and how much notice you provide. During off-peak periods, cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival generally receive a full refund. During peak periods, a cancellation fee applies even with more than 30 days' notice.

Cancellation fees increase closer to your arrival date, and some bookings are non-refundable. Different terms may apply to special offers or specific tariffs.

BIG4 Colonial Holiday Park is located at 716 Harrington Road, Harrington, NSW 2427, in the seaside village of Harrington on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, Australia. We're the very first caravan park as you enter Harrington just before Harrington Waters and about 5 minutes from the highway.

Our park is approximately 3.5 hours north of Sydney, making it a convenient coastal getaway. We're also ideally located for exploring the surrounding region:

• Taree: Approximately 20 minutes south, with shopping, dining and services.
• Forster–Tuncurry: Approximately 45–50 minutes south, known for its beautiful beaches, coastal walks and waterfront dining.
• Port Macquarie: Approximately 40–45 minutes north, offering stunning beaches, shopping, restaurants and family attractions.

Within Harrington, we're just a 5-minute drive from the famous Harrington Breakwall and Lagoon, and around 10–12 minutes from Crowdy Head.
