With its rolling hills, surrounding mountains and beautiful valley, conditions are perfectly suited for hot air ballooning. The Mudgee region is an ideal weekend getaway, located three and a half hours north-west of Sydney and four hours west of Newcastle.
Mudgee hot air ballooning adventures are generally scheduled for Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays and begin at sunrise. Balloon flights are approximately one hour in flight duration and are followed by a delicious celebration breakfast following the flight. All flights meet conveniently at Cade Kitchen in Mudgee.
