BIG4 Sandstone Point Holiday Resort does not allow pets. We allow certified Guide, Hearing or Assistance Dogs on the proviso that the registered handler ID and/or paperwork is provided prior to arrival, and the dog is wearing a harness/vest and leash at all times.

The cancellation policy at BIG4 Sandstone Point Holiday Resort varies depending on the accommodation type, booking dates, and time of year.In the event that you have to cancel your stay with us, please be advised that all cancellations must be received in writing and sent to info@sphr.com.au from the Primary email address on the confirmed booking.

Cancellations made outside 30 days of your scheduled arrival will result in a full refund less a $30 administration fee. In the event that your stay is cancelled and eligible for a refund, we may process to your original payment method which can take 3-10 business days.

Cancellations made inside 30 days of your scheduled arrival will result in all monies being forfeited.

Not quite, the park is in Sandstone Point, on the mainland side of the Bribie Island Bridge, rather than on Bribie Island itself. It's located at 1820 Bribie Island Road, Sandstone Point QLD 4511.

No open fires are permitted anywhere in the park. Fire bans may be in place throughout the year. During the winter months, our communal fire pit will be run by staff at the Sunset Deck.

BIG4 Sandstone Point Holiday Resort is around 65km away from Brisbane via car. Depending on traffic it is between an hour and 2 hours away, most commonly around a 90-minute drive.

No. As much as we’d love to share our amazing facilities with everyone, much like other resorts and BIG4 parks, we have a duty of care to supply paying guests with a premium experience and exclusive use.

On arrival, you will be provided with the essentials including all linen, bathroom amenities and towels. If at any time you need these items replenished, you can request this with Reception. For bookings more than 5 nights, we will provide a mid-stay amenity replenishment and for bookings more than 7 nights, we will provide a full-service mid-stay.

Yes, we have several 2 Bedroom Villas with a specialised bathroom suitable for those in a wheelchair or with limited mobility. If you would like to book one of these rooms, book directly with our Reservations agents over the phone to ensure you are allocated this room type or simple select an 'accessible' room type when booking if available.

Yes, it sure does! The park offers two sizes of powered sites; the powered sites are suitable for caravans. However, the smaller powered sites are not suitable for caravans and are intended for tents, swags, 4WD pop-tops and cars only.
