What you need to know

COVID-19 Flexible Booking Policy: 
Notwithstanding any applicable rights under consumer law, guests will have the option to select a new date for their existing booking or accept a credit valid for up to 12 months, if, at the time of stay, any of the following criteria applies or is reasonably expected to apply: 

  • You, or an immediate family member, have COVID–19 at the time of stay or you have tested positive for COVID–19 within 7 days prior to arrival:
  • Under a local health or government directive, you are required to self-isolate because you have been identified as a contact of a person who is a reported or suspected case of COVID-19 (note: the self-isolation requirements vary depending on the state and/or circumstances); or 
  • A State Government or Commonwealth Government directive is issued and means you can no longer travel to, or from, your destination. 

Note: You may be required to provide reasonable evidence that the above circumstances apply. 

Awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test will not automatically give rise to a right of cancellation under the COVID-19 Flexible Booking Policy. If, within 72 hours prior to arrival, you have any COVID-19 symptoms and/or you are required to obtain a COVID-19 test, please contact the park directly to discuss your options, including the potential to defer the date of arrival and/or shorten your length of stay. 

To utilise this policy a guest must have made their booking on big4.com.au.  Any difference in booking value will need to be paid directly to the park as per their usual booking terms and conditions. To request either a change to booking dates or to receive a credit for a future booking in relation to the COVID-19 Flexible Cancellation Policy the customer will need to contact the park directly. 

Any cancellation which is deemed not applicable to the Flexible Cancellation Policy will need to comply with the park's usual terms and conditions. 

Cancellations up to 28 days prior to arrival will be refunded minus a night’s tariff as a cancellation fee. No refunds are available from 28 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation Policy

The Ocean Beach Holiday Park offers the option to change the date of your booking or take a credit for up to 12 months from date of cancellation; without a fee up to 14 days prior to arrival, within low season.

Any difference in booking value due to a credit transfer will need to be paid. This excludes all bookings for December/ January/ all High and Mid school holiday periods.

Refunds are only given within the 28 day period to bookings in full that are unable to attend due to circumstances out of their control (government restrictions). Customers that are still within the cancellation period of 28 days pior to arrival and they wish to cancel their booking, the amount paid will be refunded less the cancellation fee.

If your booking period falls within High/Mid season period dates please see the below cancellation policy.

Cancellations up to 28 days prior to arrival will be refunded minus a night’s tariff cancellation fee.

No refunds are available from 28 days prior to arrival.

Any booking changes a $40 admin fee may apply.  

Reception hours: 8am to 5pm.
Guests arriving outside these times must contact park reception during reception hours to make alternate arrangements. Guests who fail to arrive on the designated day or after reception hours and have not made alternate arrangements will forfeit the cost of the first night. Special requests are on request basis only and are not guaranteed at the time of booking. Please contact the park for confirmation. A credit card must be produced in the name of the person staying at the park on check in. Any damage caused may be charged against that card. A minimum stay of nights applies during high season, a minimum stay of 4 nights applies at Easter, a minimum of 3 nights on long weekends and a minimum of 1 nights on other weekends. Adults rates apply to persons above 16 years. Children rates apply to guests aged 2 to 16 years. There is no charge for children under 2 years. Limit up to 6 persons to a site (conditions apply).
  
Check out time is 10am. Late check outs can be arranged at an extra charge where available.
Check in time is from 3pm.

Pet friendly Accommodation - BIG4 Denmark Ocean Beach Holiday Park
Dogs are family too, therefore we are more than happy to welcome your furry family member to the park. Big4 Denmark Ocean Beach holiday Park is the ideal location to bring your fur friend, with a dog friendly beach located across the road with many walking paths in the area.
Please note that all bookings with dogs are to be pre-approved, and the pet policy needs to be signed and return, prior to you stay. Please read all guidelines below carefully. Dog owners must contact us prior to arrival to apply to have their dog accepted at the park. (08 98481105)
Dog Friendly Chalets and Cabins 
Dogs are welcome all year around in select accommodation- Pre approval is required.
As sanitising services are required for dog bookings, please call the office on 08 98481105 to discuss this additional charge ($80 for up to 2 animals) flat rate and to verify our pet policy.
All dog bookings must be made prior to arrival. We do allow the dog/s to go inside the accommodation, however they are not allowed on furniture or in the bedrooms.
Dog Friendly Sites
Dogs are welcome all year round on powered and unpowered sites at Big4 Ocean Beach Holiday Park- Pre approval is required. During all Mid and High season periods, including all school holidays and long weekends, a pet fee of ($15 per animal) flat rate is required for all bookings, please call the office on 08 98481105 to discuss this additional charge and to verify our pet policy.
During low season, pet fees don’t apply however this form will still need to be signed and returned.
Guidelines
In order to ensure the comfort, enjoyment and safety of all guests staying with us we have established a clear set of guidelines to ensure that all dog owners take responsibility in regards to the actions and behaviour of their dogs.
Please be aware that if you fail to adhere to the below rules, you will be asked to leave the park immediately without a refund.

  • Dogs must be registered.
  • Max of two dogs are allowed per site or Chalet/Cabin.
  • The dog must be leashed at all times while not in your van, tent or chalet/cabin.
  • The dog must be supervised at all times and never left unattended including inside a tent, van or chalet/cabin.
  • Dogs are not allowed in any common areas of the park including camp kitchens and amenities blocks.
  • Dogs and any dog related accessories are not to be washed in the Park.
  • Dogs can be exercised at our pet friendly beach 100m away. 
  • Dog owners are 100% responsible for picking up and disposing of their dog's waste.
  • Dog owners are personally responsible, and will be held to be so, for any and all personal injuries and/or property damage or losses in relation to any actions by or because of their dog.
  • Dogs are not to chase any form of wildlife, if found doing so you will be asked to leave the park.
  • Dogs are accepted at managers discretion and some breeds may not be accepted. 

Management reserves the right to evict any guests whose dog is deemed noisy, disruptive, aggressive or is the subject of complaints from other guests.
