King George Sound Safari

King George Sound Safari run whale and scenic boat safaris daily around King George Sound and Princess Royal Harbour in Albany, Western Australia. They are the only boat tour operating year-round out of Albany Marina.
Their boat is the "Young Salty Dog", a twin-hull catamaran and ex-Sea Rescue vessel that is safe and stable. Holding up to 12 passengers, Captain Mark will impart his local knowledge and give you a personalised tour.
From around May to October, Humpback, Southern Right and occasionally rare Blue Whales frolic, mate and calve in Albany’s sheltered waters. Dolphins and seals can be seen all year round.
From November to April, they operate three tours daily of two hours duration. From May to October they focus on whale safaris, operating two tours daily of three hours duration.
Their custom safaris are perfect for corporate functions, families or Christmas parties where you book the boat out for two, three or four hours.
A barbecue is available on request and you can bring your own food and drinks, including alcohol.
