A. Cancellations

In the event that you elect to cancel your booking (Cancellation), the following schedule of fees applies depending on the season in which your booking falls. The fees specified below represent genuine pre-estimates of Bathers Paradise’s losses and overheads occasioned by cancellation, including the reduced prospect of rebooking the Site at short notice.

Off-Peak Periods: 1 May to 14 December (inclusive)

1. Cancellations received prior to the scheduled arrival date will attract a refund of all fees paid, less a cancellation fee equal to the fee for one night’s accommodation, which Bathers Paradise will retain.

2. Cancellations received on the scheduled arrival date will not be refunded, and the total Booking Fee will be retained by Bathers Paradise.

3. Any reduction in the length of stay on the day of arrival will similarly not be refunded, and the total Booking Fee will be retained by Bathers Paradise.

4. Guests who are unable to utilise their booking may request to transfer their reservation to alternative future dates, subject to availability and management approval. A transfer fee equal to $15 will be charged for all approved transfers.

Peak Periods: 15 December to 30 April (inclusive)

1. Cancellations received more than 14 days prior to the scheduled arrival date will attract a refund of all fees paid, less a cancellation fee equal to the fee for one night’s accommodation, which Bathers Paradise will retain.

2. Cancellations received within 14 days of the scheduled arrival date will not be refunded, and the total Booking Fee will be retained by Bathers Paradise, save where Bathers Paradise in its discretion agrees to issue a credit in accordance with the Credits provision below.

3. Alterations to a booking made within 14 days of the scheduled arrival date will not be refunded, and the total Booking Fee will be retained by Bathers Paradise.

4. Guests who are unable to utilise their booking may request to transfer their reservation to alternative future dates, subject to availability and management approval.
a. A transfer fee equal to one (1) night’s accommodation will be charged for all approved transfers.

5. Cancellations received on the scheduled arrival date will not be refunded, no credit entitlement will arise and the total Booking Fee will be retained by Bathers Paradise.

6. The foregoing cancellation provisions are subject to any rights granted to you under the ACL.

7. All bookings include a cooling-off period of twenty-four (24) hours from the time the booking confirmation is issued. During this period, the customer may request cancellation of the booking where the booking was made in error.

8. Cancellations made within the 24-hour cooling-off period may incur reasonable processing and administration fee applicable to the specific booking. This fee is intended to recover costs reasonably incurred by the business in processing and administering the booking and cancellation, including but not limited to staff administration time, third-party booking platform charges, merchant fees, payment gateway charges, and other transaction processing costs.

• When you make a booking, you will be required to pay a deposit equal to at least the first night’s rate of the booking (Deposit) during non-peak months.
• Bookings from the 15th of December to the 31st of April require 100% upfront payment at the time of booking.
• Once you pay for your Booking (either in whole or in part), you will be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
• Once we have processed the payment for your booking, we will confirm the details of your booking with you in writing. This confirmation creates an agreement between You and Us (Agreement).
• You must pay for your booking in Australian dollars.
• If you pay by Amex, MasterCard or Visa Credit or Debit Card we will charge a card surcharge of 1.6% of the total transaction value. The surcharge amount will be displayed at the point of booking before you proceed to payment. We reserve the right to vary the surcharge in accordance with the applicable costs and merchant fees in accepting a credit card payment at any time without prior notice.

For this park

Guests may bring their pets to Bathers Paradise, permitted at their own risk.

• Pet approval must be obtained when booking and decision is at the Property Managers discretion.
• Pets must be pre-booked at the outset of booking (including information regarding breed and number of pets).
• Arrival with additional pets on check-in may result in the booking not being honoured and forfeiture of all monies paid.
• Pets are not permitted inside, amenities block, playground, camp kitchens, barbecue areas, and reception/front office buildings. This does not apply to service animals.
• Please also note that not all guests enjoy pets, and we must all holiday happily together.
• Pets must be on a lead at all times whilst on the property, even when contained within your site and the park bounds. There are no off-leash areas within the park.
• Please must not be exercised inside the park, whilst in the park they are to be kept within your allocated site.
• Pets are not to be left unattended at any time, including in caravans, tents, or trailers.
• Please make sure you clean up after your pet. Guests are solely responsible for cleaning up after their pets on the property and in the surrounding neighbourhood. Mess must be cleaned up straight away and disposed of correctly.
• A pet fee may be charged to your card on file if any incidences or breaches to the Pet Policy occur.
• Pets must be registered and up to date with their vaccinations.
• Pets must be healthy. ie: free of worms, fleas etc.
• Aggressive pets are simply not welcome.
• So that all our guests can enjoy their stay, please always keep your pet quiet. Excessive noise, including barking, is not allowed.
• Pets must be well mannered and always appropriately restrained by the Guest.
• If your pet is causing problems with other guests, the manager has the right to terminate your further stay and forfeiture of all monies paid.
• Any ongoing disturbances that affect guests’ experience, such as barking, may result in termination of your further stay and further charges incurred. This may include refunds given to other guests due to disturbances.

Important: If a Bathers Paradise manager reasonably considers that your pet acts in any way considered to be aggressive, dangerous, or destructive, the manager reserves the right to ask you to vacate the property and terminate your stay, in which case you will not be entitled to any refund of monies paid for your stay at Bathers Paradise.

• Guests are liable for all loss and damages. Including property damage and/or personal injuries, which occurs directly or indirectly resulting from their pet. Bathers Paradise reserves the right to apply all fees and expenses associated with any such loss and damage to the Guest’s account.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bathers Paradise will not be held responsible or liable whether in negligence, contract or otherwise if any person incurs, experiences, or suffers any direct or indirect loss (including but not limited to any loss suffered to property or person and economic loss), damage, fatality, injury (including psychological trauma), inconvenience or health-related issue whatsoever arising out of or connected to your pet.

• You are always solely responsible for your property at Bathers Paradise.
• If your property is lost, stolen, or damaged at Bathers Paradise, we are under no obligation to:
  • replace the property.
  • compensate you for; or
  • be liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible or liable for any accident or, direct or indirect loss including but not limited to loss suffered to property or person, damage, fatality, injury, psychological injury, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, disappointment or health related issue whatsoever during your stay at Bathers Paradise.
• You agree to fully and finally release and discharge us from any liability, claim, action, right or entitlement whatsoever you have against us whether known or unknown, whether accrued, contingent or inchoate arising out of, concerning or relating to your stay.
• If you wish to claim any refund you must contact Bathers Paradise directly by calling (08) 9071 1014.
• If a condition or warranty cannot be excluded at law then you agree to the fullest extent permitted by law that our liability for a breach of the condition or warranty shall be, at our sole election, the re-supply or payment of the cost of re-supply of the relevant goods or services. All other conditions and/or warranties are expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
• You fully indemnify us against any loss, liability, damage, action, demand, expense, claim, fine, charge or obligation which we have or may suffer or incur by reason of or in any way consequent upon, arising out of or incidental to the non-performance or non-observance of the obligations and liabilities imposed on you under this Agreement or by reason of or concerning or arising out of your conduct, act or omission on or related to the Booking or your stay at Bathers Paradise.

BIG4 Holiday Parks facilitates this booking service and is not responsible for the provision of services, standard of facilities or payments received. All bookings are made directly with the individual owner of this BIG4 member park and therefore BIG4 Holiday Parks will not accept any responsibility.
