Denham

Denham is the gateway to the World Heritage-listed Shark Bay region and a fantastic destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers. The town's stunning coastal setting offers beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters and some of Western Australia's most spectacular sunsets, making it the perfect place to relax and soak up the scenery. 

One of the area's most famous attractions is nearby Monkey Mia, where visitors can experience unforgettable encounters with wild dolphins that regularly visit the shoreline. Denham is also an ideal base for exploring François Peron National Park, where striking red sand dunes meet brilliant turquoise waters, creating some of the most breathtaking landscapes in Australia. 

While you're exploring the region, be sure to visit Shell Beach, one of the few beaches in the world made entirely of tiny white shells, and Eagle Bluff Lookout, where you may spot dugongs, turtles, rays and sharks in the waters below. History and nature enthusiasts will also enjoy discovering the ancient stromatolites at Hamelin Pool and learning about the area's rich heritage at the Shark Bay World Heritage Discovery Centre.
