Changes and Cancellation

Customers who book a break on will be covered by the BIG4 COVID-19 Flexi Booking Policy and the BIG4 Brand Promise, see the 'what you need to know' section, below, for more details.


Pets are permitted in selected accommodation and in your own caravan/tent/campervan, etc. in the off season only. A $50.00 (site) or $100.00 (accommodation) cash bond is required and is fully refundable subject to our Pet Policy being adhered to. We reserve the right to refuse a booking with a pet that is deemed not suitable to stay in the park. Please ring the park direct to make arrangements and receive a copy of our Pet Policy.

Deposits and Payments

A credit card payment of 50% of the full amount of your stay is required on booking, full payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. In the event of a one night stay on a site or en-suite site, full payment is required at booking. Direct deposits can be made, banking details available on request. A reservation is not deemed confirmed until such a time as cleared funds have been deposited in our bank account. The park will process a charge against your credit card and send confirmation to you.

What you need to know

COVID-19 Flexible Booking Policy: 
Notwithstanding any applicable rights under consumer law, guests will have the option to select a new date for their existing booking or accept a credit valid for up to 12 months, if, at the time of stay, any of the following criteria applies or is reasonably expected to apply: 

  • You, or an immediate family member, have COVID–19 at the time of stay or you have tested positive for COVID–19 within 7 days prior to arrival:
  • Under a local health or government directive, you are required to self-isolate because you have been identified as a contact of a person who is a reported or suspected case of COVID-19 (note: the self-isolation requirements vary depending on the state and/or circumstances); or 
  • A State Government or Commonwealth Government directive is issued and means you can no longer travel to, or from, your destination. 

Note: You may be required to provide reasonable evidence that the above circumstances apply. 

Awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test will not automatically give rise to a right of cancellation under the COVID-19 Flexible Booking Policy. If, within 72 hours prior to arrival, you have any COVID-19 symptoms and/or you are required to obtain a COVID-19 test, please contact the park directly to discuss your options, including the potential to defer the date of arrival and/or shorten your length of stay. 

To utilise this policy a guest must have made their booking on  Any difference in booking value will need to be paid directly to the park as per their usual booking terms and conditions. To request either a change to booking dates or to receive a credit for a future booking in relation to the COVID-19 Flexible Cancellation Policy the customer will need to contact the park directly. 

Any cancellation which is deemed not applicable to the Flexible Cancellation Policy will need to comply with the park's usual terms and conditions. 

Bookings cancelled 30 days or more prior to the arrival date will be refunded in full (less a $30 booking fee). In the event of a one night stay on a site, full payment will be forfeited. Bookings cancelled 15 to 30 days prior to the arrival date 50% of the deposit will be deducted. Where bookings are cancelled less than 15 days the deposit is forfeited. Cancellation of bookings for Christmas, Easter, School Holidays and Long weekends with less than 30 days notice will forfeit the full deposit. Guests who fail to arrive on the designated day will forfeit the deposit. No refund for early departure or inclement weather. Bookings can be moved without penalty at the Managers discretion.

Damage / Theft

A credit card must be produced in the name of the person staying at the park on check-in. Any damage or theft caused may be charged against that card.

Minimum Stay

A minimum stay of [7] seven nights applies during high season, a minimum of [4] four nights at Easter and a minimum of [3] three nights on long weekends.

Rates / Tariffs

Rates and tariffs are based on 2 people. Adult rates apply to persons above 16 years. Children's rates apply to guests aged 2 to 15 years. There is no charge for children under 2 years. Bookings made in advance may be subject to a tariff change without notification.

Special Requests

Special requests are on request basis only and are not guaranteed at the time of booking.

Right of Refusal

We reserve the right to refuse a booking at any time from any person reasonably believed to:

  • Not be the person named on the booking request.

  • Not be the person named on the credit card or not be authorised to use the card.

  • Not be able to pay for any charges.

  • May cause damage to the property of the park or other guests.

  • May exhibit socially unacceptable behaviour.

  • Be younger than 18 years and not accompanied by a responsible person over that age.

  • Be concealing a dog or other unauthorised animal.

We reserve the right to eject guests from the park who are deemed by management to be behaving in a socially unacceptable way; causing damage; disturbing other guests; using unacceptable language or otherwise breaking Park Rules. No refund will be given and charges will apply for any damage caused.

Visitors are welcome however need to park outside the park and leave by 10pm.

Subletting of Accommodation

Accommodation/sites are provided to the booking party for the guest(s) as named on the booking. Accommodation must not be sublet or resold by the booking party for commercial gain without our prior written consent. Genuine group bookings are not affected.


You are solely responsible for your own belongings and We are under no obligation to replace or compensate, nor shall We be liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of Your property being lost, stolen or damaged.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, We will not be held responsible or liable in for any accident, direct or indirect loss including but not limited to loss suffered to property or person, damage, fatality, injury, psychological injury, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, disappointment or health related issue whatsoever during your stay at BIG4 Dongara Denison Beach Holiday Park. You agree to fully and finally release and discharge Us from any liability, claim, action, right or entitlement whatsoever You have against Us whether known or unknown, whether accrued, contingent or inchoate arising out of, concerning or relating to your stay

If a condition or warranty cannot be excluded at law then You agree to the fullest extent permitted by law that Our liability for a breach of the condition or warranty shall be, at Our sole election, the re-supply or payment of the cost of re-supply of the relevant goods or services. All other conditions and/or warranties are expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law

You, or if under the age of 16, Your parents or legal guardians, fully indemnify Us against any loss, liability, damage, action, demand, expense, claim, fine, charge or obligation which We have or may suffer or incur by reason of or in any way consequent upon, arising out of or incidental to the non-performance or non-observance of the obligations and liabilities imposed on You under this contract or by reason of or concerning or arising out of Your conduct, act or omission on or related to the Booking or your stay at the Property

BIG4 Holiday Parks facilitates this booking service and is not responsible for the provision of services, standard of facilities or payments received. All bookings are made directly with the individual owner of this BIG4 Member Park and therefore BIG4 Holiday Parks will not accept any claims for refunds or credits.
