Incorporating a fully accredited Visitor Information Centre, sustainable design elements and interactive environmental interpretive displays, the Yea Wetlands Discovery Centre is a striking, architecturally designed building that is designed to inform visitors about the importance of water resources and wetland ecology.

The friendly Visitor Services team can provide information on a wide range of activities, points of interest, accommodation, dining options, and travel directions.

The Centre features a gift shop stocking a range of products including books, maps, jewellery and local produce.

Guided tours of the Wetlands are available for groups (Devonshire Tea options available) and school bookings encouraged.

Outside the Centre is the impressive Indigenous garden Badji Baanang. The plants found in the garden are representative of plants found across Taungurung Country and the garden also incorporates information about indigenous plants and the species that depend on these plants for survival.

Discover also the Kayigai Trail, the Wetlands loop, Sculpture Trail and the Daabani Biik Butganani Yanath, a self-guided immersive audio tour.

Also onsite is a purpose-built picnic area with barbecue facilities, ample on-site parking and a recreational vehicle dump point.
