Powered Site

Amendments and Cancellations for stays during event weekends, holiday periods, public holiday and long weekends, must be made more than 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. Amendments and Cancellations at other times can be made up to 7 days prior to arrival for accommodation and ensuites and 2 days prior to arrival for sites. An administration fee is payable and deducted from cancellation refund payments.

Group Bookings

• Group bookings of 8 sites and/or accommodation or more, are subject to a 30 day cancellation period. Cancellations and changes after this period has expired will not be eligible for a refund

Cancellation Administration Fees

• An administration fee of $40 applies to cancellation for accommodation and powered ensuite bookings and $15 for cancellation of powered and unpowered site bookings. The fee will be deducted from your refund. If Cancellation is received after the cancellation period has expired, you will incur a 100% booking fee.

No Shows

• If you do not arrive on your reservation date your booking will be cancelled without refund or credit.

Shortening your Stay

• If you wish to reduce the nights booked after commencement of your stay with us, we regret that we are unable to refund any monies paid.

A deposit equivalent to the first night of your stay is payable at the time of booking. The balance is payable 7 days prior to arrival. Special dates, including but not limited to, event weekends, holiday periods, public holiday and long weekends may require full payment at the time of booking.

Rates are per night for up to two people unless otherwise indicated. Infants less than 2 years old stay free. Fees apply as indicated for additional adults or children two years old and over.

Pets Welcome - Selected Sites only

• You may now bring the "Fur-kid", family dog or cat to BIG4 Castlemaine Gardens Holiday Park. Dogs & cats are welcome to stay on a limited number of powered and unpowered camping and caravan sites and pet friendly designated cabins. See our detailed policy here.
• Before you arrive, please call our friendly reservations team on 1300 472 762 to register your pet with your booking.
• When you arrive at our park for your stay, you will be required to sign an agreement which outlines the rules relating to your stay at our park. Pets will be welcomed at the managers’ discretion.

Our dog policy:

• There are of course certain rules that apply when you bring your dog to the Park. You can select the link to the BIG4 Dog Policy to see the general conditions that apply to a holiday with your dog at a BIG4 Holiday Park.
• Our Park is adjacent to the Castlemaine Botanical Gardens and a large open grassed area also abuts the Park. These facilities may be used for walking your dog as owners are not permitted to walk their dogs within the Holiday Park grounds.
• On checking-in with your dog, Park Management will require your authorisation to debit your credit card at the end of your stay no less than $50 in the event of damage, disruption or soiling of the park grounds by the dog during its stay.

Guest Details

• Name on the reservation must be the same as the credit cardholder's name and the same individual must check-in for the stay. Guests under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult

• Including choosing specific site numbers or groups are on a request basis only and are not guaranteed. All efforts will be made to accommodate any special requests.

Bedding

• Bedding is included on all beds. Please make sure all guests are listed on your booking to ensure that the correct linen is provided.

Deals or Special Offers

• Cannot be combined with any other discount offer. Blackout dates may apply. Please read the terms and conditions applicable for any Deals at the time of booking

Smoking

• Smoking is not permitted in any of our accommodation or shared facilities.

In-Park BIG4 Member Perks

• Please note that Perks are subject to availability and may not be available during peak periods or long weekends

Bunk Beds

• Guests will observe the Australian Standards relating to bunk beds. Children under the age of 9 years are not permitted to use the top bunk.

BIG4 Holiday Parks facilitates this booking service and is not responsible for the provision of services, standard of facilities or payments received. All bookings are made directly with the individual owner of this BIG4 Member Park and therefore BIG4 Holiday Parks will not accept any claims for refunds or credits.
