Our unpowered grass sites are a great option for budget‑minded travellers and are suitable for tents, camper trailers, cars, and motorbikes. Each site offers a comfortable, fully grassed area with easy access to all park facilities.

Guests staying on these sites can enjoy the nearby amenities block, which includes toilets and showers, a coin‑operated laundry with washers, dryers, and hand‑washing tubs, plus a small camp kitchen with a fridge, microwave kettle and toaster. An undercover BBQ area with gas barbecue is also available.

Vehicle and setup details must be supplied at the time of booking to ensure appropriate allocation.

Changes & cancellations

Cancellation Policy

Payment Requirements

  • Bookings within 30 days of arrival: Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Bookings more than 30 days before arrival: A 50% deposit is required, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to arrival.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellation request must be received in writing.
  • 7 or more days before arrival: Eligible for a refund, minus a $30 cancellation fee.
  • Within 7 days of arrival: The first night’s accommodation is forfeited.
  • Refunds (when applicable): A $30 cancellation fee applies to all refunded bookings.

Credits

  • A credit may be offered at the discretion of management for last‑minute cancellations.

Fees

Visitors are welcome but must report to reception and park their vehicle in the allocated visitor car park. All visitors must leave the property by 10pm otherwise they will be charged as a guest.

What you need to know

We recommend stopping off in George Town before you check in to pick up groceries or a bite to eat. There is a Woolworths Supermarket open until 9pm, BWS Bottle Shop, ATM facilities and takeaway and dining out options that are open 7 days. We have a small kiosk in reception with a few snack/convenience items or there is an IGA Supermarket also open 7 days located 2.3 kilometres from the park. We stock change for washing machines and dryers in reception.
