Overview

These sites are designed specifically for small campers and motorhomes, rooftop campers up to 6 metres. Each site features a mix of grass and bitumen, along with access to power, drinking water and grey & black water sullage.

They offer a comfortable, convenient option for travellers who don’t require a large footprint.

Guests staying on these sites have full access to the nearby amenities, including toilets and showers, a coin‑operated laundry with washers, dryers and hand‑washing tubs, well-appointed camp kitchen with a fridge, microwave and stove, and an undercover BBQ area with gas barbecue.

Please note: These sites are not suitable for caravans. Vehicle and setup details must be supplied at the time of booking to ensure appropriate allocation.

Above‑ground fire pots are permitted on selected sites—please check with management for availability.

Changes & cancellations

Cancellation Policy

Payment Requirements

  • Bookings within 30 days of arrival: Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • Bookings more than 30 days before arrival: A 50% deposit is required, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to arrival.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellation request must be received in writing.
  • 7 or more days before arrival: Eligible for a refund, minus a $30 cancellation fee.
  • Within 7 days of arrival: The first night’s accommodation is forfeited.
  • Refunds (when applicable): A $30 cancellation fee applies to all refunded bookings.

Credits

  • A credit may be offered at the discretion of management for last‑minute cancellations.

Pets

  • Pets are welcome on all caravan and camping sites and a limited number of specific pet-friendly cabins. 
  • Pets are not permitted on any furniture within our pet-friendly cabins, or an additional cleaning fee may be applied.
  • Dogs must be on lead of no more than 2 metres in length. The only exception to being off leash is if you have a secure enclosed area for your pet within your caravan, annex or site.
  • Pets must not be left unattended on sites or in cabins. 
  • Maximum of 2 dogs permitted only.
  • Aggressive dogs or dogs that constantly bark will not be permitted. 
  • Owners are 100% responsible for immediately picking up and disposing of their pet's waste in the park garbage bins provided.
  • Our surrounding area has some great off leash parks and beaches for your four-legged friend to enjoy.
  • Dogs are strictly not permitted where there are penguin rookeries.  
  • It is the pet owner’s responsibility, and the pet owners alone, to control and manage their pet. If in the view of the park management this has not happened to an acceptable level the owner and the pet will be asked to leave.  If you are asked to leave, you will not receive a refund.
  • Park Management accepts no responsibility or liability for your pet.

Fees

Visitors are welcome but must report to reception and park their vehicle in the allocated visitor car park. All visitors must leave the property by 10pm otherwise they will be charged as a guest.

What you need to know

We recommend stopping off in George Town before you check in to pick up groceries or a bite to eat. There is a Woolworths Supermarket open until 9pm, BWS Bottle Shop, ATM facilities and takeaway and dining out options that are open 7 days. We have a small kiosk in reception with a few snack/convenience items or there is an IGA Supermarket also open 7 days located 2.3 kilometres from the park. We stock change for washing machines and dryers in reception.

BIG4 Holiday Parks facilitates this booking service and is not responsible for the provision of services, standard of facilities or payments received. All bookings are made directly with the individual owner of this BIG4 Member Park and therefore BIG4 Holiday Parks will not accept any claims for refunds or credits.
