A much-loved destination for locals and tourists alike, you can enjoy a lunch by the water or get a permit from the Lake Samsonvale Water Sports Association to take out your watercraft. Swimming is not permitted at Lake Samsonvale.  

Cast the line out and you might catch a native fish, Australian Bass, Yellow Belly, Mary River Cod, Snub Nose Gar and Saratoga. Permit from Pine Rivers Fish Management Association is required.

There is lots for the kids to do with wide open grassed areas and a playground featuring bark chip softfall, a slide, fireman’s pole and a flying fox.
