Changes & cancellations
Changes to Bookings
- You can change your booking if you provide at least 7 days’ notice before your arrival date. Changes are subject to availability and current pricing.
- Only one change is allowed per booking. If you cancel after making a change, no refund or credit will be given.
Cancellations
- If you cancel outside 7 days of your arrival date, you will receive a refund minus a $30 cancellation fee.
- If you cancel within 7 days, no refund or credit will be given.
No-Shows & Early Departures
- No refunds are provided for no-shows or early departure.

Standard Cabin & Site Bookings
• A deposit equal to the first night’s accommodation is required at the time of booking.
• The balance is payable upon arrival.
Booking Alterations & Extensions
• If you wish to extend your stay, please speak with our office staff as early as possible.
• Extensions are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
• It is the guest’s responsibility to check and confirm their scheduled departure date, as shown on your receipt/s.

• Credit card surcharges apply on all transactions using: Debit card/Visa/Mastercard and American Express
• Park policy applies to all paying guests and Visitors of guests
• Visitors are required to check in at the office on arrival.
Visitor Policy
We are committed to providing a peaceful environment for our guests.
• Day visitors are allowed if visiting a guest currently staying in the Village.
• Please check with management before arranging any visitors — especially during peak periods, as visitor numbers may be restricted
• All visitors must sign in at Reception before entering the Village.
• If outside business hours, guests must first seek management approval.
• Visitors are to park their vehicles on Roberts Street or in the allocated visitors parking space.
Camp Site Area Policy
Our camping areas are intended for short-term stays by holidaymakers and international travellers.
• The maximum stay is 7 consecutive nights, unless prior approval.
• Camping sites are not available for temporary housing or for use as commercial accommodation.
• All guests must:
o Provide valid government-issued photo identification upon check-in.
o Be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over at all times.
Emerald Tourist Park reserves the right to refuse entry or cancel bookings that do not comply with this policy.
Damage, Cleaning, and Key Loss
• Guests are responsible for any damage, breakage, or excessive cleaning required.
• Lost cabin keys will incur a $20 replacement fee.
• Additional fees may apply for extra cleaning, repairs, or missing items.
Liability
• Emerald Tourist Park is not liable for the loss, theft, or damage of guests’ personal belongings.
• All guests and visitors enter and stay at their own risk.
• Parents and guardians are responsible for the supervision and safety of children at all times.
Smoking and Fire Policy
• Smoking is strictly prohibited in all cabins and park buildings.
• No Fires or any open flame cooking implements other that portable gas BBQs are permitted on any sites. The is a designated fire pit for guests to gather during the winter months.
Refusal or Termination of Stay
Emerald Tourist Park reserves the right to:
• Refuse entry or service to anyone.
• Evict guests who breach the Terms & Conditions or behave in a disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe manner the balance of the stay will not be refund without refund.
