No pets are permitted. This is a requirement by Queensland Parks and Wildlife Services (QPWS).

Please note that Turtle Sands is located beside the globally significant Mon Repos turtle nesting beach, home to endangered and vulnerable turtles. By staying with us, you become part of the effort to protect these remarkable creatures while enjoying a truly memorable experience.

These incredible turtles are highly sensitive to light, noise, pets, and human activity.

To help protect their habitat, all guests are required to follow our Turtle Protection Promise (Oct 15-Apr 30 annually), which focuses on minimising disturbance and preserving this fragile environment.
