Metered Power
We have elected to equip our park with the latest technology, meaning each of our sites are individually metered.  If you choose to book a powered site, from when you check in  to the time you check out your power usage is recorded.  At check out your total usage is charged at the exact rate we pay.  This way you only pay for what you use, a fairer system for all our guests.  This also aligns with our values of sustainability and minimising our footprint.
An average caravan set up running a fridge and air-con each day has been averaging $3-$5 per day.  Every setup is different and we have had usages ranging from 1c (people in a swag charging their phones) to $10 a day (a family of 5 travelling in a converted bus which has 2 air con, full sized fridge and chest freezer)

At River Myall Holiday Resort, we understand plans can change due to unforeseen circumstances. Please be aware at the time of booking that this policy will apply when cancelling or making changes to any booking.  The person whose name is on the receipt is responsible for all members of the group and guests.
Off-Peak Season Cancellation Policy
If more than 72 hours notice is given for a reservation cancellation during off-peak season, guests will be refunded their full payment less a $30 administration fee per cabin or site.  If less than 72 hours notice is given this will result in a forfeiture of all monies paid.
Mid-Season Cancellation Policy
If more than 14 days notice is given for a reservation cancellation during mid-season, guests will be refunded their full payment less a $30 administration fee per cabin or site.
Cancellations within 14 days of due arrival will result in a forfeiture of all monies paid.
Peak Season Cancellation Policy
Includes public holidays, long weekends, school holidays and local special events – bookings require a security deposit of the first nights tariff when booking.  When booking online, full payment is taken at time of booking. If more than 60 days notice is given for a reservation cancellation during peak season,  guests will be refunded their full payment less a $30.00 cancellation fee per cabin or site.  If cancelling with 30-60 days notice, guests will incur the first nights accommodation cost and the balance of monies paid is refundable. If cancelling inside 30 days of scheduled arrival, this will result in forfeiture of all monies paid.   An administration fee of $30 per reservation will apply for each date change.   We require a minimum night stay on long weekends and local special events. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for weather and external factors which may prohibit your stay, however, in the event of a major flood occurrence which may affect areas of our resort, and we ask guests to evacuate for safety reasons, River Myall Holiday Resort will honour the balance of your stay upon rebooking at the equivalent rate. We recommend you seek independent travel insurance if you are concerned external factors may impede your stay. If you wish to change the dates of your booking rather than cancel, we will try to accommodate your request by allowing a credit of monies paid to be held for a period of up to 3 months, subject to availability.  There is no charge for making such a change for the first time.  Subsequent changes will incur a re-booking fee of $30 each time thereafter. Please note if you have made a booking through a third-party website such as booking.com or expedia.com, the cancellation policy that is published on their website shall apply to that booking.  If you have made a booking on a ‘special’ which has additional terms and conditions, you will be subject to that package’s cancellation fees.
Group Bookings will incur the same cancellation fees per site/villa as stated above.

No credit or refund will be available for early departures or cancellations once arrived.
