The museum stands out with immersive, hands-on experiences, like the daily Highlights Tour in the Shipwrecks Gallery, where visitors uncover the story of the Batavia. Set within a striking coastal landmark at Batavia Coast Marina, it combines cutting-edge multimedia with artifacts from four legendary Dutch shipwrecks: Batavia, Zuytdorp, Zeewijk, and Gilt Dragon.

The museum lies steps away from the HMAS Sydney II Memorial, Geraldton Town Beach and the lively foreshore, ideal for combining cultural immersion with coastal relaxation.
