Various parks across the country have just completed an assortment of exciting, action-packed developments.
From splash parks to sky decks, these new features are set to inject even more fun into your next stay.
Here are some of the lively additions…
There was already a lot to love about this park, including its glorious waterfront location. Now, it’s literally overflowing with appeal. It’s all thanks to the impressive new indoor heated water park, which opened in October.
The water park includes a dumping bucket, two slides, and various thrilling spray features that make for year-round fun. And adults will also enjoy the upgrade thanks to the addition of a huge new indoor heated spa pool.

The SkyDeck is expected to be a hub for a variety of in-park activities such as trivia, wine appreciation nights, and more. Look out for an expected opening date near the beginning of December.

Two brand new swimming pools have just opened at this popular South Coast NSW park, and right in time for summer. The first is a heated lounge pool complete with a plunge pool in its centre. There are also lounge chairs within the pool (yes, you read correctly) and a shallow area for younger children.
The other pool features two lap lanes, a play area, and outside sections well-suited to relaxing. Both pools have ramp access. The upgrade complements the existing ‘aquaventure’ park.

Mildura is an enticing destination for a break, as is the wider Murray River area. And that appeal has been amplified with the instillation of two new water slides at BIG4 Golden River, which opened at the start of November.
Both are almost 3m high: One is a speed slide with a left-hand turn; the other includes a full loop for maximum thrills. Better yet, the slides cater to both kids and big kids at heart.

And while they’re well-suited to a couples’ escape, the tents are also ideal for families with ample room for two adults and up to three kids.

Overlooking the park’s resort-style pool, this precinct received a significant upgrade with the addition of both indoor and outdoor seating – including poolside lounges – as well as a big screen and games room.
This area is primed to be a key site for kids’ club activities in school holidays and movie nights at selected times.

The facilities just keep getting better at BIG4 West Beach Parks. In September, the park unveiled a brand new entertainment area complete with tables and chairs, a fire pit, and festoon lighting. Its positioning near the pool means parents can supervise their kids at play with coffee in hand.
In addition, there’s a roving on-site food truck, and the park’s café has had a complete facelift and now comes with a more relaxed, holiday-style menu. It all means there’s no need to even leave the park!

And it’s set to lure anglers during fishing season (March to May) thanks to the addition of a brand-new fish-cleaning bay and crab-cooking area. These facilities should be completed by the end of November and in ample time before keen fishers descend on the town to catch King George whiting, squid, and blue swimmer crabs. Caravanners will also love the inclusion of drive-through sites.
