In exciting news, the BIG4 network is expanding.

A trio of quality holidays Parks has just come on board; each in beautiful pockets of Australia.

It’s time to meet the new faces. And stay tuned for more arrivals soon…

BIG4 Breeze Holiday Parks – Carnarvon Gorge, QLD

Park type: Classic.

Set among picturesque bushland at the edge of iconic Carnarvon National Park, this 40ha resort delivers the perfect back-to-nature experience.

The assorted accommodation range includes cabins and powered and unpowered sites as well as safari-style glamping tents.

Safari-style glamping tents are among the accommodation options.

A well-stocked general store, three camp kitchens with BBQs, and communal fire pits are among prominent in-Park facilities. However, the Bush Bar is arguably the most popular attraction, providing an idyllic setting to kick back with drink in hand.

The Park, located 720km northwest of Brisbane, also offers information sessions, tours, entertainment, meals, and more.

What to do in Carnarvon National Park

Headlined by captivating Carnarvon Gorge, the park is a stunner. Among its bewitching sights are neck-craning sandstone cliffs, ancient Aboriginal rock art, expansive rainforest, rock pools, a rich assortment of bird life and wildlife, and much more.

Leading activities include:

  • Walking: Ample tracks with loads of variation.
  • Wildlife viewing: Thrilling ops day and night.
  • Birdwatching: More than 170 species abound.
  • Swimming: Cool off in the Rock Pool.

BIG4 Breeze Holiday Parks – Katherine, NT

Park type: Classic.

With 15ha-plus of parkland-like surrounds only 5km from the heart of town, this Katherine accommodation has instant attraction.

Cabins for various budgets and travelling sizes are joined by shaded powered and unpowered sites for caravan and camping. Or enjoy a stay in a safari tent.

An inviting pool, camp kitchen, and BBQs are among the welcome amenities, and an onsite bistro (open Wednesday-Sunday nights from May-Oct) adds extra convenience.

A short stroll across the road leads to Low Level Nature Park and Katherine River, well-suited to swimming, fishing, and other aquatic activity.

Country Style Caravan Park, Stanthorpe, QLD

Relax at a peaceful riverside setting, just 10km to the town centre.

Cabins and caravan and campsites all feature along with excellent facilities that include a covered BBQ area. It’s all 225km southwest of Brisbane.
