Arriving in Esperance, Chelsea and Bryce couldn’t believe their eyes as they gazed upon the crystal-clear waters and squeaky white sand. They made the most of the stunning weather, enjoying beach days complete with crisp ciders.
Next stop – BIG4 Middleton Beach Holiday Park, Albany. It’s just a short stroll to cafés, restaurants, and beautiful boardwalks. And the park itself is set on stunning Middleton Beach. Whether you’re into surfing, fishing, whale watching or, like Chelsea and Bryce, enjoying a Friday afternoon rosé on the beach, you’ve come to the right place.
The couple were blown away by the impressive Albany windfarm before jumping back in the car and heading further west to the sublime turquoise waters of Prawn Rock Channel.
“How’s this for a lazy river?! You can pretty much hop in at one end and float down the inlet. Just add a drink in hand and it’s the perfect afternoon sesh in Denmark.”
After a couple of pit stops from Denmark, Chelsea and Bryce arrived at BIG4 Dongara Denison Beach Holiday Park. Perched right on the water, the park boasts an idyllic beachfront location and stunning sunsets. And who could go past a Sunday pancake breakfast?!
Travelling further north along the coast, the couple arrived at BIG4 Geraldton Sunset Beach. A little bit of gloomy weather didn’t get in the way of a good time, with Bryce releasing his inner-child on the Jumping Pillow and Chelsea making the most of the camp kitchen to do some baking.
“We don’t have an oven in our caravan, so we love making use of camp kitchens.”
The sun did decide to show its face eventually, offering up a beautiful day for the beach and a stunning sunset to follow.
“They call it sunset beach for a reason!”
Heading back south and arriving in WA’s capital, the duo settled into their large, grassy site at BIG4 Perth Midland Tourist Park.
“Home sweet home for the next couple of days, while exploring Perth.”
Making use of the well-equipped camp kitchen, they whipped up a BBQ and kicked back to enjoy a delicious dinner in a stellar setting.
