BIG4 parks reopen following bushfires

Bushfires have had a severe impact on several parts of Australia, most notably the South Coast NSW, Lakes Entrance, and Victoria’s High Country regions.

The fires resulted in the temporary closure of 22 holiday parks in the BIG4 network, but fortunately many of these parks are now open.

These improved circumstances have led to the NSW Rural Fire Service making a call for tourists “to start returning to the villages and towns along the Far South Coast of NSW as weather conditions improve”.

The return of visitors has the ability to have a profound impact on affected communities’ ability to get back on their feet.

And with so much to see and do in these regions, there’s plenty for visitors to enjoy while helping locals to rebuild.
