International Site Pass

The International Site Pass is an exciting offering from BIG4 and the first product of its kind in the Australian market.

It has been designed to provide international guests who are hiring campervans a flexible product that can be used in a safe and secure environment. Our park pass is offered in seven-night modules where guests can choose to stay at individual parks for single or multiple nights.

BIG4 parks are a great base to explore surrounding areas and to experience all that Australia has to offer. The nights are redeemable as either single or multiple stays at any one of our BIG4 parks across Australia. Guests simply contact a park prior to arriving to reserve one of the many powered sites that are on offer. It’s as simple as that.

The pass can be purchased through our product partners Apollo, Britz, Maui and Mighty. It is available as a product combined with campervan hire directly through our partners.

BIG4 parks can be spotted along some of the best touring routes that Australia has to offer. The Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Exploring the Coast from Sydney to Brisbane, and the Explorers Way from Adelaide to Darwin are just some of the popular driving routes where BIG4 has a strong presence.

BIG4 Parks are a world away from the basic accommodation from years gone by. Today, a BIG4 Holiday Park offers features such as jumping pillows, water play parks, mini-golf, and even day spas. All of this is offered to international travellers in a safe and secure environment, ensuring a trip to Australia is remembered long after our guests have returned home.

What you need to know

There are some dates when visitors will be unable to redeem the site pass in BIG4 parks.

These include: The period from the 26 December to 31 January for all parks south of the Tropic of Capricorn*, the period from 1 July to 31 July for all parks north of the Tropic of Capricorn*, the four (4) day Easter Long Weekend (being Good Friday to Easter Monday) for all Parks and Other Special Event periods as determined by individual BIG4 Parks. Please check with your destination park to see if the Pass is valid for the requested booking date.

*Tropic of Capricorn: The Tropic of Capricorn is the dividing line between the Southern Temperate Zone to the south and the tropics to the north. See below for a visual representation.

Several BIG4 parks lie on or close to the Tropic of Capricorn, we have clarified below which parks lie South and which lie North of the Tropic of Capricorn.

  • RAC Exmouth Cape Holiday Park - North
  • BIG4 Plantation Holiday Park – South

Q. Maximum number of people the pass accommodates for?

A. The three/four person pass will be valid for up to four (4) people per powered site. The one/two person pass is valid for up to two (2) people per powered site. Additional people staying on the site will be charged at the extra person charge relevant to that Park.

Q. What if I lose my site pass?

A. Contact BIG4 and we will issue you with a new pass.

Q. Does the pass apply to powered or non-powered sites

A. The pass is for powered sites, you may wish to extend this to unpowered sites.

Q. What is the maximum number of nights a guest can stay using an International Site Pass?

A. There is no maximum. They are allowed to use all their nights at one park if they wish.
