Local Highlights

Dolphin Discovery Centre
Dolphin Discovery Centre Australia’s only centre offering both boat and shore based dolphin interaction tours led by marine biologists. Take a 'Swim on the Wildside’ with the dolphins in the calm waters of Koombana Bay. Our park have teamed up with the centre and are now offering a hop on/hop off tram service around Bunbury. It is $10 per person and children 4 & under are free. The trip is 1.5 hours and it operates Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays 9.30am and 11.30am. Bunbury Back Beach
Enjoy a walk along Ocean Drive while watching the surfers, you might even spot a whale or dolphin from the shore lines.

Marlston Hill Lookout Tower
Climb the tower for fantastic views over the city and Geographe Bay.

Bunbury Wildlife Park
A great family day out interacting with some of Australia's most native animals. Feed the kangaroos, enjoy a walk around The Big Swamp and the kids will love the huge playground.

Fishing
Fishing is popular from Bunbury's Back Beach, Leschenault Groyne and Collie River.

Ferguson Valley Winery & Brewery Tours depart daily and visit some of the regions best local food and wine produce.

Apple FunPark
The perfect destination for a family afternoon, the Apple FunPark is located a short drive from the park in the heart of Donnybrook. The biggest free entry playground is Australia, the FunPark has play equipment for all ages, including adult friendly gym circuit exercise equipment.

Beedelup National Park
Surround yourself in magnificent Karri forest, walk the suspension bridge through the treetops and relax at the gorgeous waterfall. There’s wheelchair access to the falls viewing platform and the kids will love the walk-through tree.

Geographe Wine Region
Four picturesque towns make up this emerging wine region which takes in crystal waters, rolling hills, colourful wildflowers and big forests. Meander through Harvey, Ferguson Valley, Donnybrook and Capel to explore the many wineries.

If you can’t bear to spend time away from golf course, not to worry, visit one of the many located around the region. Nestled between Collie River and Leschenault Estuary Bunbury Golf Club is the South West’s premier golf facility, boasting a reticulated 18 hole golf course across 72 hectares of native trees and plants. Octopus Garden Marine Charters specialises in cruises, guided Scuba Diving Tours and Group Charters in the crystal clear waters off Bunbury. Or if you prefer a more relaxed style, they also run twilight cruises - where you will enjoy stunning sunsets and take in Bunbury’s beautiful back beaches. Our local dolphins regularly approach the boat and are an added attraction.
