BIG4 Bright Holiday Park is situated along the Ovens River within the resort precinct area in Bright which acts as a fantastic swimming area during the warmer summer months. The Bright Splash Park is located just 200m from the park for those travelling with children with the rotary water slide on our doorstep. The Ovens River is also a great spot for fishing seasonally. The park is set upon a lovely landscaped gardens that attracts a variety of wildlife in particular local birds, making it an ideal place for bird watching enthusiasts. Walking and bike trails start from the park with all town facilities within easy walking distance. The Murray to Mountains trails is just a 3 minute ride away. Our children's playground that provides fun and entertainment and relaxation for the parents and a kids club during peak periods. Cyclists can enjoy our Mystic bike wash facility. Check out our sports, dvd & games library at reception. Park activities such as Astronomy evenings, wine and gourmet tastings, live music, music work shops, alpine story telling and many kids activities can be found on our activities link. Bookings are recommended to avoid disappointment. In winter, toboggan and chain hire is available in park with daily snow reports available at reception. Enjoy one of the many festivals in Bright anytime of year or visit the local markets. Take the kids to the new Cloud9 Cinema, visit Bright Chocolate or La Blanche ice creamery or book into a gourmet cooking class

Astronomy Evening and Star Gazing
This activity open to anybody of any age who is interested in learning about our universe and looking at our fabulous skies Requirements: Torch or flash light essential and can be borrowed from BIG4 Bright.* Stable footwear. Guests must be able to walk 500m on a dark dirt uneven walking track. BYO, binoculars seat or picnic rug – not essential. Remember your jacket and hat. Children must be accompanied by an adult. It is an amateur group that welcomes people of all knowledge levels. This event is weather dependent.

Bright Days Festival
Bikes, cars, live music and community generosity come together in Bright, North East Victoria on the March Labour Day Long Weekend for the fourth annual Brighter Days Festival. The Festival is a free event organised by the Brighter Days Foundation to raise funds for two children's charities, the DEBRA Foundation (Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa Research Association) and SUDC (Sudden Unexplained Death In Childhood). The weekend will feature free live entertainment as well as children's entertainment, a show and shine and the Harley Davidson raffle. These are just some of the events that generate funding and awareness for these two important children's charities. A fun event for all. Come along and support this fantastic organisation, it's all about the kids.
