Fairfax Youth Initiative
September 18th to 21st
Beginning in Swan Hill in 1997, the Fairfax Youth initiative is a series of workshops, activities and performances specifically for young people aged between 12 and 17 from regional and remote Australia. The event is held annually in memory of George Fairfax, who grew up in Nangiloc, a small town in the Mallee region of Victoria.
Beau Heartbreaker - Created and Performed by Selina Jenkins

Best known for her character creation ‘Beau Heartbreaker’, an Akubra wearing dairy farmer, Selina combines musical comedy, compelling storytelling and an intriguing physical transformation. Her original music and vocal ability is a surprisingly strong addition to this endearing character and has received praise within both the Australian Comedy and Cabaret scenes.

Each month we average around 20 stallholders presenting a wide range a fresh, regional produce.
Nyah Lions Club Markets
2nd Saturday of the month
This market is held at the Nyah Recreation Reserve Trotting Track and has around 25 stalls selling everything homemade and home grown. There are food stalls and local attractions and a playground. Dogs are allowed on leash.
