1000 Steps/Kokoda Memorial Walk
At a length of 2.5km one way, this track combines the challenges of the famous 1000 steps walk with the Kokoda Memorial Walk, created to remind us of the courage of the men who fought on the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea during World War II.
Phillip Island Penguin Parade
The Parade is open every day of the year. The best time to visit is at sunset/dusk if you wish to see the actual "penguin parade". This is when the penguins cross Summerland Beach to return to their sand-dune burrows. After a day fishing for food in the waters surrounding Phillip Island, the penguins make their way across Summerland Beach in groups. This delightful event is commonly known as the "penguin parade". This unique "parade" can be experienced from environmentally friendly observation boardwalks and viewing stands.

View the thousands of seals at Seal Rocks through telescopes. Stroll along the Nobbies Boardwalk and enjoy spectacular views along Phillip Island's rugged south coast. See the awesome blowhole, a spectacular sea cave that thunders into the cliffs and explodes back with sea spray - a sight not to be missed! Be amazed by the nesting seabirds during spring and summer. Look for Little Penguins which nest around the boardwalk area. You may be lucky enough to spot a whale on its migration in Bass Strait or some dolphins moving in and out of the bay.
