Walking Distance from BIG4 Wye River

Paddy's Path – Wye River
Take a 20min walk to Separation Creek where once the tramline ran.

Bird Watching – Wye River
Our area is renowned for birds such as the Gang Gang, King Parrots, Rosella’s, yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo and hundreds more.

Mountain Bike Riding
For the more adventurous; take a ride from the back of the BIG4 Wye River Holiday Park along the river and head bush. There are endless Otway tracks to choose from.

Fishing
Whether a professional fisherman or a ambitious junior, we have the facilities to drop a line and hopefully catch dinner! The river is a great spot to sit by all year round and people have been known to catch a fish or two. Alternatively, the beach across the road is a great spot with a surf-rod with the wide beach offering a solid chance to make a catch!

Surfing – Learn! (Go Ride A Wave Seasonal)
During the summer months, surf lessons are hosted by Go Ride A Wave on the Wye River Beach which is conveniently located just across the road from the park.
We also hire boards out all year round so it's never too late to get in the water and give surfing a go!

Wildlife Spotting in the Great Otway National Park
The Great Otway National Park (backing on to the park) has abundant wildlife – swamp wallabies, koalas, ring-tailed possums and grey kangaroos are common, and tiger quolls and yellow-bellied gliders can be seen too – though rarely seen.
