Kennet River Glo-Worm Walk
Take your torch and explore the natural beauty of glow-worms by night at the Grey River picnic area. An absolute must for everyone and one the kids will love! Duration: 1 hour return night walk Start: Grey River Rd
10 Minutes from Wye River towards Lorne is Sheoak falls. A great family friendly walk to the falls that takes around 10 - 15 minutes each way. You can sit right down the bottom of the falls and enjoy a picnic. 15 minutes from Wye River towards Apollo Bay is Carisbrook Falls. Another family friendly walk to the falls that takes about 10 minutes. Very impressive waterfall.

Wye River Surf Beach
The Wye River flows out through the BIG4 Wye River Holiday Park to form this 200 m long beach. The beach is bordered by high valley slopes, with the Great Ocean Road winding behind, and sandstone rock platforms and reefs fringing each end. The beach faces south-east and receives waves averaging 1.4 m, that produce a wide, low gradient single bar waves. Seasonally patrolled, this beach is great for beginners or pros!
Mountain Bike Riding - Local
Venture from the back of the park into the beautiful Otway Ranges or take a short 50 minute journey to forest and explore your choice of around 30 man made mountain bike tracks you can enjoy!
Fishing - Local
Drop a line in the famous Wye River from your unpowered campsite or head across the road and cast your line across the surf beach or from the rocks.
The Famous 12 Apostles
A must-do while visiting the Great Ocean Road & only a 2 hour drive from BIG4 Wye River - you will soon see why this landmark is the talk of the town! While your down that way don't forget to checkout; Gibson Steps, Lorch Ard Gorge, Bay of Islands, London Bridge & the famous Thunder Cave!
Otway Fly & Tree Top Walk
Only 1hr & 15minutes away from BIG4 Wye River is the Otway Fly Treetop Walk. A 1 hour rainforest walk experience that is approx 2km in total and features a 600mt long and a 30mt high steel structured treetop canopy walkway that takes you right into the treetops. It’s the longest and tallest walkway of its type in the world! Included in this walk is the kids Prehistoric Path – where there is a dinosaur around every corner!
Take a drive 15 minutes up the road and arrive at the second coolest coastal destination - to BIG4 Wye River of course. Shopping galore for your fix of retail therapy, Wine & Dine at some of the coolest cafe's or spend some time relaxing on the foreshore playground and skatepark!

All items at the Apollo Bay Community Markets are locally made, baked, grown, sewn, sculpted, painted, carved, created They are held each Saturday on the Apollo Bay foreshore, on the Great Ocean Road, between the Apollo Bay Surf Life Saving Club and the Tourist Information Centre.
