Designed & built by one of our local bicycle enthusiasts, the man made park which is suitable for all standards of riders is located within the township.

Ecologic offers a wide variety of activities including Split Point Lighthouse Tours, rock rambling, ocean snorkelling, guided walks & environmental talks.
Coogoorah Park is located alongside the Anglesea River just a 10 minute stroll form Big4 Anglesea Holiday Park. An adventure playground with huge "boat" for playing in, BBQ facilities and a maize of boardwalks and islands for the whole family to explore. You can also feed the many ducks & birds whom reside there, or just do a spot of fishing.
Beach & Bush Walking
With several walking tracks surrounding Anglesea, there is sure to be walk to suit everyone from 1km - 30kms. You can absorb the brilliant beauty of the unspoiled bush or walk along the pristine beach. In Springtime, the bush is a mass of wildflowers which includes our magic orchids. The Anglesea Wildflower Festival is held late September each year.

Go Ride A Wave
With instructors available in Anglesea & Torquay, why not take a surf lesson or ride a surf kayak with one of the many experienced instructors. All equipment to get you in the water is supplied.
Take a ride either along the beach or on a bush trail with a qualified instructor. With horses selected to your ability, even those who have never ridden before will be catered for.

Gentle Annie Berry Gardens & Tea-Rooms
A PYO berry farm nestled in the picturesque and peaceful Pennyroyal Valley, they offer a unique opportunity to visit a working farm and pick your own quality produce. You can stay for lunch or afternoon tea at their cafe or visit the farm shop and purchase some preserves. Gentle Annie is just 20 minutes drive from Lorne, Winchelsea or Colac and only 40 minutes drive from Geelong. They offer a stunning variety of berry fruit for you to pick from!
Jirrahlinga Koala & Wildlife Sanctuary
Jirrahlinga Koala & Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in Barwon Heads near Geelong. They care for wildlife and marine life that have been traumatized from natural/man made disasters. Jirrahlinga Koala & Wildlife Sanctuary is all about animals and people and they would love for you to spend some time with them. So bring along the kids, a picnic, the camera and spend the day with them and have some fun!
Erskine Falls, Lorne
Erskine Falls are at the end of Erskine Falls Road 10km north east of Lorne. There is a viewing point above the falls and a walking track, steep in places, leads to the base of the falls. The falls cascade over one of the highest drops in the Otways.
Split Point Lighthouse, Aireys Inlet
Famous for its starring role in the TV show 'Round the Twist', Split Point Lighthouse has some of the best views on the coast and a fascinating history, making it a must see as you travel the Great Ocean Road. Fondly known as 'The White Lady' , the world famous lighthouse is opened daily with tours available.
Magic of the Otways
There are so many ways to explore and appreciate the Great Otway National Park. Visit Maits Rest, a beautiful garden of giant ferns and huge old trees. Discover high waterfalls in its narrow valleys, ranging from the impressive Triplet Falls to secluded falls over fern-fringed pools. Others to explore include Beauchamp Falls, Hopetoun Falls, Little Aire Falls, Marriners and Stevenson Falls, all of which are found in the Otway region. Drive The Great Ocean Road to Twelve Apostles
The Great Ocean Road is one of the world's most spectacular coastal drives. At times the road sits almost right on the long strips of sandy beaches, making plenty of moments when you feel you can almost touch the water! Other times it cuts through rugged ocean cliffs or through the forests of the Otway ranges. Visit lovely seaside towns and stop and explore, finishing your trip at the world famous Twelve Apostles!

Anglesea Rock 2 Ramp Swim

The Anglesea Rock 2 Ramp is an 1.2 km open water swim held at Point Roadknight Beach, Anglesea. The 2008 Rock 2 Ramp will be held on Sunday 28th December 2008 and entries will open in Late September 2008.
ANGAIR Wildflower Show & Art Show

Many residents and visitors explore the Anglesea and Aireys Inlet district each year to admire the amazing number of orchids and other wildflowers that grow throughout the region. Most species flower in springtime and each September ANGAIR holds a Wildflower and Art Show in the Memorial Hall, McMillan Street, Anglesea. The Show attracts visitors from all over Australia as the Anglesea heathlands are of international significance. The proceeds of the Show are used for land conservation purposes.
Rip Curl Pro Surf and Music festival

The Rip Curl Pro Surf and music festival at Bells Beach is held every Easter. This event attracts Pro Surfers from all over the world and locally competing for the Bells Beach title.
One Act Play Anglesea

One Act Play Festivals are designed to encourage people to participate in a weekend of theatre. Participants are generally invited to take part in a range of theatrical as well as social activities over a weekend period. Performances generally take place Friday evening, all day Saturday and Sunday, if required. Adjudication takes place over the weekend and Awards presentation is held at the end of the weekend.

Anglesea's One-Act Play Festival

The One Act Play Festival is a little like a film festival, it consists of entries from all over Victoria, and performing one act plays from 20-50mins in length, of various genres. It's a great showcase of what theatre companies across Victoria are producing. Anglesea has a reputation as the friendly festival, providing home cooked cafe, local wines, good heating and good old fashioned hospitality. Where else can you see three plays for around $10!
Anglesea Music Festival

Anglesea Music Festival will be held for the first time in and around the coastal township of Anglesea from the 8th, 9th and 10th of October 2010. The Music Festival, with its origins in realising and promoting the musical and artistic talents of local and regional performers through Anglesea, has evolved into a 3 day festival bringing together grass roots and well-known bands, performers and artists. Anglesea is situated on the iconic Great Ocean Road and is close to Geelong, Torquay and Melbourne, so come and celebrate all that is dynamic, diverse and divine about music on the coast!
