Buchan Caves

Nicholson River Winery
Nicholson River Winery was established in 1978 and is owned and operated by Juliet and Ken Eckersley.They make small quantities of speciality wines intended to be enjoyed with food. Varieties include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Viognier, Pinot Noir, Syrah or Shiraz, Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. There are sparkling, botrytis and preservative-free wines, whilst the styles are more European than traditional Australian. The setting is picturesque with a commanding view of the Nicholson River and rolling hills. Platters of local cheese and antipasto are available and on select occasions wood-fired pizza can be enjoyed alfresco with a glass of wine .

East Gippsland Rail Trail
Experience the diversity of East Gippsland as this trail weaves past undulating farmland, tall forests, rivers and flood plains. Cross historic timber railway bridges and enjoy views of the Gippsland Lakes before arriving at the Snowy River.

Lakes Entrance Surf Club Foreshore Markets
These markets are held on the first Sunday of each month and features stalls with everything from local, hand-made arts and crafts, souvenirs, gifts, plants, and of course, delicious food! Markets are open from 9am-3pm.

East Gippsland Art Gallery
Established in 1993, East Gippsland Art Gallery is the centre for visual arts in East Gippsland celebrating the unique artistic spirit of the Gippsland region through a vibrant and dynamic program of art and cultural experiences for the whole family. Discover paintings, drawings, mixed media, prints and 3D works that inspire, excite and challenge. The Gallery Shop stocks books, magazines and a variety of fine arts and crafts produced by local artists.

Ninety Mile Beach Marine National Park
Located 30 kilometres south of Sale and adjacent to Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park, Ninety Mile Beach Marine National Park covers five kilometres of coastline. This untamed stretch of coastline runs alongside the slender strip of sand dunes that protect the Gippsland Lakes.
