The Heritage Drive will take you past 41 historical buildings dating from 1839, and follow the Ned Kelly touring route to learn more about the notorious bushranger. Seymour is also famous for a its strong military heritage and the proximity of the Puckapunyal Military Base. Visit the Australian Light Horse Memorial Park, the Vietnam Veterans Commemorative Walk and nearby Australian Army Tank Museum to commemorate those who played their part in the past and present. If you enjoy a Food and Wine experience there is plenty on offer. Be sure to visit the local markets, nearby wineries and don't forget to come and stay with us during the Taste of Goulburn where you can sample some of the regions finest fare. For our more active guests the Goulburn River High Country Rail Trail 120km from Tallarook to Mansfield is a short distance from Seymour. Spend the day cycling through the region and return at night to relax with friends by the campfire.
