Bruny Island

Bruny Island is located 2 hours south from the Tourist Park and a short 20 minute ferry ride across the D'Entrecasteaux Channel from Kettering will get you to the island.

The north and south of the island are connected by a narrow strip of land, known as the Neck. Get an iconic photo of the Neck by climbing the stairs and viewing the optical illusion that makes the sea-level appear higher on one side.

Visit or take a tour at the Cape Bruny Lighthouse, first lit in 1838. Today it is Australia's second oldest and longest continually staffed lighthouse. Enjoy and indulge yourself in the island's cuisine including but not limited to, oysters, cheese and chocolate.

Experience what Bruny has to offer by the water. Take a Pennicott Wilderness Tour, leaving from Adventure Bay and experience Bruny Island's native wildlife and the spectacular views from the water.
