Loxton Lights Christmas Festival
The combination of activities, displays and festivities presents a colorful and exciting experience. Throughout the 5 week program, running from the last Saturday in November until New Years Eve, tour the streets to experience the delights of Santa's Walk, Christmas Wonderland, Singing Christmas Tree, Big Santa and the other light displays throughout the township.
Loxton Historical Village
This popular attraction, which recreates Loxton life as it was in the early 1900s, is the recipient of many awards including the Riverland Tourism Award for the Best Tourist Attraction in 2007. Over 45 fully furnished buildings and sites exhibit farm equipment, machinery, household goods and other items used by the early settlers of the district as well as being home to the amazing 1956 Murray River Flood photographic exhibition. Step back in time on "Village Alive" days.
The Pines Historical Home - Loxton
"The Pines", Loxton's Historical House and Gardens was bequeathed to the people of Loxton by Mrs Ella Kingdon. Visitors are given a glimpse into the lifestyle of the benefactor. Antique furniture, silverware, fine china collectables, water colours and tapestries are on display. The 200m square gardens are being restored and are, along with the breezeway, a popular venue for weddings, as a function centre, family celebrations and fine dining. The gardens are always open. Guided house tours available.
Tree of Knowledge
View at a glance how severely a high river can affect this region. By studying the high river levels on the trunk of this magnificent old river red gum, you can begin to understand the cycles and impact of the Murray River system. Lions Park, Grant Schubert Drive, Loxton.
Loxton Pioneer Playground
This playground is an interactive playground which will entertain kids for hours on end. It is the only one in South Australia. Located on Bookpurnong Tce Loxton just near the round about.

Australian National Dirt Kart Titles

Where: Karoonda Highway, Loxton What: Enjoy some fantastic Kart racing at the 2014 Australian National Dirt Kart Titles to be held at the Loxton Kart Club. 250 or more entrants are expected to compete in 12 different categories, including junior and senior racing.
