Naracoorte Caves National Park
Not only will the beauty of Naracoorte Caves leave you speechless, their rich fossil history will have you intrigued. The fossils have earned Naracoorte Caves National Park a spot on the World Heritage List - South Australia's only listed attraction. Open daily from 9am to 5pm, excepting Christmas Day, you can easily spend a full or half day exploring the surrounds; guided Cave tours and Adventure Caving are offered. It's a magnificent spot for picnics or tasty meals and snacks at Caves Cafe.

Limestone Coast Horse Riding
SCENIC TRAIL RIDES: Bushland Trail 1 1/2 hours; ride through heritage scrub. Forest Trail 2 hours; ride through heritage scrub and pine forest. Giant Red Gum Picnic Ride 3 hours; includes catered gourmet picnic at bush hut. Robertson's Cave Trail 4 hours; includes private cave tour and catered gourmet picnic at bush hut. All trails include 30 minutes preparation and tuition. GARDEN RIDES & LESSONS: Enjoy learning to ride on beautiful horses and ponies; individual & small group sessions.

Sheep's Back Museum - a National Trust Property.
The Sheep’s Back Museum tells of the Australian wool industry in the area. This accredited and award-winning museum is full of surprises including an 1860’s stone flour mill, timber shearing shed, machinery display shed, slab and iron Post Office, country school and the big shed housing the prototype Robotic Shearing Machine. Limestone Landscapes Gallery gives an overview of the whole region and explains how the natural landscape has developed and influenced Aboriginal and European activities.

Penola Fantasy Model Railway & Rose's Tearoom
A visit to the Kingdom of Penolaraya takes the visitor on a magical and colourful journey into a fantasy world where 'G' scale trains, castles & waterfalls are the main features. It is located at 38-40 Riddoch St, Penola, ring to check opening times; 08 8737 2247.

Naracoorte Regional Art Gallery
The Naracoorte Art Gallery is the oldest regional gallery in SA and is a showcase of traditional and contemporary visual arts. The permanent collection of Australian Art includes etchings by John Goodchild, Australian Contemporary works on paper, aboriginal prints, paintings and ceramics. Swimming Lake / Pool
Naracoorte's unique and FREE swimming lake / pool is open every summer, from 1st December to 31st March. This magnificent facility, operated and managed by local council, is a star attraction, for locals and visitors alike. Holding about 10 million litres of chlorinated water, it holds roughly the capacity of six or seven Olympic sized pools! Guests staying at Naracoorte Holiday Park can stroll through the park's back gate straight into the swimming lake area - come and go as you like!

Task Force 72
from 22 November, 2014 to 23 November, 2014
If visiting Naracoorte on Saturday 22nd November, 2014, pop by the Naracoorte Swimming Lake - right beside Naracoorte Holiday Park. Members of Task Force 72, model boat enthusiasts, will again be taking out their miniature ships for show. At this time, the swimming lake is not yet open for swimming, so it's ideal for 'boys and their toys' - there are some great models to see in action.

Taste the Limestone Coast Festival
from 15 February, 2014 to 16 February, 2014
The TASTE Festival is an event co-ordinated by the Lions Club of Naracoorte, and has been running for a number of years now. It encompasses Food & Wine, music, entertainment for children, art exhibitions, golf and the Naracoorte Cup horserace. Come along for a fabulous weekend!

South East Field Days
from 21 March, 2014 to 22 March, 2014
The SE Field Days have been held at Yakka Park in nearby Lucindale for 35 years and attracts a crowd usually in excess of 20,000 people over the two day event. Promoted as an event with 'something for everybody' over 600 exhibitors displayed their wares at the 2013 event, and a wide range of other activities including sheep dog displays always draws good crowd attendance. 2014 Masters Games
